Favorite nonmusic moment: girl with FAKE claim ticket trying to get her poster from the merch table.  Summarily dismissed by merch dudes.

they went super quick. i was waiting upstairs at like 6:45 and the posters sold out by the time i got down to the merch line and was like 15 people away. the poster looked okay - something like a heart in a bear trap. not totally sure - i only saw quick glances.

posters are selling out FAST.  it is almost to the point of choosing between a choice spot on the rail OR getting a poster.  get there early so you get a good spot on line.  if you're going with others, have them box out a spot for you while you head straight for the merch table.

Their merch guy told me there were only about 50 posters on hand for sale. The rest get taken by the bands, artist, etc.

Check out omgposters.com, they feature a lot cool artists who do concert posters, and when something really cool goes up for sale on an artists' website they link to it.

Possible good news if you missed out for It Still Moves posters...Cricket Press's "for sale" page has MMJ listed with "COMING SOON!"

QuoteThat's how it's been so far.  Waiting upstairs and then able to go "in" at 7pm.

So were you able to get to the merch stand during the "waiting upstairs" period? Or on your way to the "waiting" area?

Or no posters until 7pm?

Sorry to be such a nerd... I'm just thinking about should I go for the poster first or try to get my spot on the balcony first....

I'm interested in this as well. I was going to head over to T5 around 630 and wait to get in til 7. Was anyone able to buy merch before 7pm or is it only after 7pm.

Step 1. Wait in line upstairs to go "in"
Step 2. At 7, they let you down to go into the venue.
Step 3. Some people rush to the front of the stage and get choice locations.  Others, (nerds such as us) walk to the merch table and wait in line for merch.

Good luck!

I was in line at 6:20 and got a poster...

I plan on getting in line around 430 today.  Hope to see some of you guys there waiting with me.

If I'm that early, will I be able to get both a poster AND a balcony rail spot?

2nd Balcony the place to be?

Hot damn! Who did that TF? I must have it.

Just curious because I have never had a problem getting the poster I want for a show I attended. Is there some sort of unwritten rule/common courtesy principle about buying a limited release poster (online) for a show you did not attend, when most people who attended the show were unable to buy posters.

I hope the question makes sense and I'm not trying to put up a stink. I just had a transcendent experience at the TTF show and was pretty crushed when I found out posters sold out so quick. I personally think it would be really thoughtful if non-attendees held off for a little while if they do release some more prints so people who were there could have to opportunity to purchase them.

Kinda interested to see where people fall on this. Again, not trying to stir the pot or anything, just really hoping to get something to help me remember this amazing experience.

I think most people only buy posters of the shows they attend.

I LOVE the Radio City poster and work next door to RC but couldn't make the show so never tried to buy the poster.

Would be really great if more were available at the shows for all those who really want them.

Yeah, I wish they printed up like 300 or so. That's generally enough to serve all that want a poster.

I've been checking the artist's webpage for The Tennessee Fire like a hawk this week. I will not be denied!

So far the At Dawn is my favorite one, followed by TTF.

by the way, for those who have inquired --

got all the poster frames at Michael's .  Big chain store.  Frames are marked at $45 each but sale had them at 50% off.

Eric-- will you be at McGees for a bit tonight  (i imagine we will head over to T5 early again tonight)

If my son's friend gets up from Baltimore early enough then yes, but I'm not counting on that. ;) If not at McGees,we'll see you and Beth on line.

I'll send you a text later to let you know either way.
