Birmingham was my first show going solo, flying in from NH by my lonesome, but you'd never know it.  By the time the lights went up, I was looking over to my newest Jacket brother, Seth (scosby2), we with our shit-eating grins, welcoming the boys back to the stage after the '09 hiatus.  That Eminence Front intro shook that little theater!  Woooooooo!  Who would have thunk that OBH, a great closer, would also make a fantastic opener?  Wonder what they'll open with in 2011?

I have, both times I've seen them here in SD. I honestly wouldn't have it any other way. I don't know anyone else who appreciates this band as much as I.

;D

I went solo to the Birmingham show on 4/20/10 and to the Ryman show in 2006. I never felt lonely, as I'm always able to chat it up with fellow Jacketeers. <3

Amen, Meg.  I appreciated our stroll to the Alabama Theatre from Speakeasy that evening, though I lost sight of you from there.  How'd you hold up in them heels?

My feet were killing me, but (as they say) beauty is pain. LOL. I was working it that night for sure.
