Suggestions

Hey Everyone, I am going to head on down to my local music store to make some purchases.  Since I already own all of the mmj albums, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should purchase.  Usually, I am into very low, slow, dreary music, but I need to rock.  I saw the Burning Brides open for mmj, but the sound was terrible.  Is this a cd worth purchasing.  They did rock pretty hard.  Give me some suggestions, please.  I am in a slump.  :-/
