Lucero

I just thought I'd start this thread, after noticing that there are some fans of this band here.

Lucero is a band from Little Rock, Arkansas.  I feel that MMJ fans would like them very much....

I have been to several of their shows in Little Rock and Memphis....

Do you have any Lucero stories?  Have you heard their albums?

I've been to see them a bunch of times. They play at the Rudyard in Louisvulle on about every tour they do so all ya'll in the ville need to go. They are great guys (MMJ fans themselves) and would love open for our beloved jacket.

yeah.  I saw them at Headliners in Louisville.  I think they were opening for North Mississippi All-stars.  I liked 'em, so I bought Tennessee.  It's good.  I also saw them at an in-store @ ear x-tacy.

Get the new one That Much Further West. Its great. Their older stuff ( self titled and the attic tapes) are fantastic but a different sound.

Just got back from Lucero at Lyon College here in Batesville, it was an awesome show and a great crowd.  Got a chance to talk to the band and they really flipped out when I proposed a MMJ/Lucero concert.  Hopefully this will be the start of a HUGE tour and I can have the braggin rights!
