What is Emo?

 Howdy, i'm sedative boy from Florida.  I really don't know anyone who likes MMJ except for me.  Even the guys in my band hate them. yeah, maybe i need a new band...

Anyone here from florida?

i sing some songs, can play some guitar, sing kinda pretty, scream sometimes, mostly sober these days, watch Threes Company, read about Samurai's, Vikings and Beatniks...into .. Drive by Truckers, The Band, Hank Williams, Elliott Smith, Modest Mouse, Sonic Youth, the Cure, Built to Spill,  Elvis Costello, Elvis, Sebadoh,  Devo,...oh, and Captain America and Conan,...Doctor Who..
...and my hair hurts today, feels like i am wearing a hat but i'm not.

Hey, you sure have taste, but err... Is this just to introduce yourself or do you really want us to tell you what emo is? 'Cuz if it's that, then I don't really know either...  :-/

just an introduction really. I am a fan of the band, and thought it was cool to converse with other fans as well. I am also hoping by luck to run into some Central Florida members here that may want to jam...

 as for Emo, i think he was a comedian,  popular in the   80's..
