they sound kinda like some old bowie or maybe echo and the bunny men and a small twist of arcade fire

Sounds really good.  (I tried to make them my friend, but stupid myspace won't let me log in.)

They remind me of the good, old Pulp.  (Man, I seriously thought I posted about this already.  hmmm...)
