ps: Loved the MMJ show at the Astoria, (loved  Junior Senior too, tho I read a review which said bout them recently "2 words - Black Lace" which I thought was well out of order) but err, we were right down the front, bang next to the towering stack of speakers and right near the end, the soundman must've seeriously whoomphed the vol. right up, cos our ears were well'n'truly blown, tings were all dizzy'n'big,echoey-chambery'n'ringin'n'dingin for 4 days afterwards!

Noticed on the nme.com, that some acts have been confirmed for Glasters 2004, and My Morning Jacket are strongly rumoured to have been invited too : )

Oz

Ah, the Pixies reunion! I'm not sure if I wanna see that. You know, it could be absolutely fucking great (I discovered them in 1997, so I never saw them live), but it could also turn into the biggest disappointment ever. But yes, I am curious..
I'm ready when you are

plank10

SMc55

Masterplan. Again and again and again. Just can't get enough of it at the moment. Soon it will be another track. Then another. It's a great life, isn't it?

Thin Lizzy! Especially 'Cowboy Song'.......I know it's my age ;)

SMc55

Air Conditioning by Curved Air, especially 'It Happened Today'. I'm gradually buying the CD version of every vinyl in my collection, and coming up with some strange, long forgotten but often fab sounds.

DougMac

A fans mix of Smile using 1966/67 and 2004 live recordings.  Groovy.  Especially the second movement.  Surfs Up is one of my favourite songs ever.

Brilliant stuff.  All their 'b' sides, or at least most of them.  Pop music as a positive concept!  Do youself a favour and give them a spin.

Runnin' from somethin' that isn't there

Oz

I'm into different music every hour. I can't keep fixed on something, strangely. Well, it has an explanation (still got my ex running through my head), but it's kinda nasty, 'cuz I feel like buying CDs everyday, 'cuz the ones I buy only stick with me for a few days and then I feel they don't work no more. Bizarre.
I'm ready when you are

lfish

Curtis Mayfield,

He always gets me in the mood.
