But I fear it is getting a little embarassing about how I keep on talking about that on this forum. Oh, well.. It kinda fits with MMJ's music, I suppose.  :)

Stop worrying and just talk about whatever you feel -it's good for you.

I'm going to install a new door-bell now (I know - so exciting), but I'll be back tomorrow hopefully.

Keep listening to the music. It's the only way.

SMc55

Don't be embarrassed, we all wish you well, that's all. It's heartbreaking to see you so sad. One thing is guaranteed, though, it WILL get better, and you'll feel good again. If only you could go to sleep until that happens, eh?

I'd better tell you what I'm listening to, in case we get into trouble again for wandering off topic  ;).  Afraid to say it's Busted  :-[   Now who's embarrassed?  It's my kids, honest. It's their turn to choose.

Take care, O.

O, you are among brothers and sisters here, so don't feel bad about posting ANYTHING.  You know that, right?  ;)  It's allllllll good here on the forum.

Off topic or not, we're you're friends...so post away.  Besides, you have some catching up to do!  :D

Haha... Still haven't reached 1000. Well, in that case...

The reason I'm so fucked up now, is because, well, she left me, wich is bad in itself, but now we're being really mean and immature to each other, cursing and all the rest. A really stupid, immature breakup, the ugliest possible. And well, she was only 17, so it's not that strange, but it's fucked up.

You know what helps? Not listening to music, but making music. So, "Currently playing" is quite appropiate. Wich gets me thinking... Ifish, I wanna jam with you one day!  :) And John, have you ever had any playing or singing experience?

Dead right JC.
We are here to help in any way we can.  Thats part of the reason we are here.  Share the pain.
It sounds trite, I know, but it will get better.
Keep the faith mate, love you to bits.

Just so I don't get bollocked, this day I am curently listening to 20 Miles, and thinking about Rammstein.

17, wow, young. I think sometimes it's better if you just stay away from each other for a while. You both need some time and perspective.

Making music is cool - maybe the pain will inspire you to make something brilliant.

Okay count me in O.  Maybe on one of my working trips in the Netherlands. Sometimes I have to go to Eindhoven.  Is that far situated from where you live?

And john yeah,  have you got an by whiskey and cigarettes affected voice, something like " I got the blueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeess" (sing with a dark deep brown voice)

Maybe we can start the first crossborder internet band???
Of course we need a bassplayer and a drummer? Anyone.

Oh and before I forget, maybe we can gather multiple voices. I know jim hasn't got to do much lately.... ;)

Me, I'm 21, by the way. And as for music, I hope you're right - I'm about to record a new demo, next week, or something. :)

Congratulations with your doorbell, by the way!  :)

Good boy O, that's the spirit!
I bet it'll come out really good.
Good luck with it.

Ding Dong.

PS I'm 32 going on 18.

Yes, congrats on the door bell!

To answer O's question, I was an aspiring musician in my younger days...in a classical sense.  My pipe dream was to be a high school music teacher...until I found out I wasn't as good as everyone was telling me.  I had a bad audiition at the music school I wanted to go to, and it broke my heart.  :'(   Sooooooo....I haven't really played since.  I was quite good (or so I thought) at the family of woodwind instruments (sax, clarinet)...now that I mention it, that gives me a hankerin' for a long sax session.

(queues Morphine on the CD player.....mmmmmmmmmm, Morphine)

Hey john, that's funny. I used to play classical piano and people always thought I was much better than I was. I was never able to sight-read properly, and I certainly couldn't play by ear. Nevertheless, I tried really hard and got my Diploma in the end, which allowed me to teach a little bit. That was nice. I don't play or teach anymore.
Sounds like you really should though.
Go on.   ;)

Ah, entertaining the broken dreams of yesterday...a long and winding road has past between then and now.  Alas and alack, it might be too late for that.

On the other hand, I am in full "look for a new job/career" mode...hadn't thought of that as an option!  Thanks!  8)

Make sure that whatever job/career you choose allows you plenty of time to listen to music. I work for myself from home which means I can listen to music all day everyday. It's fantastic.

OK, it's quittin time in Ireland so I'm off to get ready of Franz Ferdinand gig tonight. Then off to Brussels on Monday for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. So excited.
Have great weekends everyone and I'll talk to you all next week.

Damn, it's been too long for me.  I only can agree with your choice. And justice for all is also damn neat.

Ps I formally reject the after-load-released-metallica period
