Sound/tech question

If I want to plug a SONY minidisc recorder directly into the board, what do I need plug-wise?  I use this cable that I can plug directly into the computer, but the plug is headphone-size.  Do I need a converter to make it a bigger plug?  Like a guitar pick-up size plug?  (Fucking hell I can't remember the technical term, which is why I'm asking here because I try not to look so stupid in front of sound techs so that they actually take me seriously.  :))

Anybody know?

Yo! It's an 1/8 inch on one end (stereo) and two (each mono) 1/4 inch cables on the other end, you should be able to get it at any music store.
