Woke up this morning and promptly shit my pants after reading all this wonderful Circuital-related news that has been finally bestowed upon us. After I hosed down my computer chair, it became clear to me that there really was no decision to be made -- the super mega 180-gram deluxe Roll Call fun time extravaganza package would have to be purchased. Any time a band rolls out an expensive product that gives me a whole lot of cool shit, I'll pay pretty much anything.
So, what configuration are you going to spring for -- and why?
The best thing is, since all configurations end up with Circuital in the hands of the listener, there is no wrong answer.

I'm buying the Big Box set and a regular black version that I will play and play over and over again
i'm going to do the regular vinyl and the fan club thing. though that green vinyl is rad looking
going to save my clams for the uber deluxe live box ;D
i think i should just set up an auto-deduction at work for mmj related activities! kinda like a christmas club, only BADASS!

can anyone speculate as to what "limited" means in the context of the limited delux box for Circuital? I'm wondering if it is limited to preorders or if they will just use that as a metric to produce like 10% more or keep producing until sales drop off? 8)

i'm not sure ... i'd like to get the grand golden SHAZAM'NESS but with all the shows and traveling i do, i really can't afford it and i rather spend the money on actually going to a show ??? i dunnoz, i'll probably cave ... maybe? if not i'll definitely do Roll Call and of course the album :thumbsup:

I hope I get that new job I applied for! The deluxe box set was not enough as I had to become a member of the fan club!
Deluxe box set (even though I don't currently have a turntable), CD (as it isn't in the box set) and Roll Call membership. And shipping to the UK. I expect it to arrive around Christmas.
i went for the delectable deluxe pkg so i, too, will need to get me a turntable @ some point in the very near future ;D
as for the plantable seed-infused bookmark - i'm thinking it'll have some "deep thoughts" type quote for us to think on. you know - plant a seed in our minds... either that or some actual tree or plant seeds to offset the carbon footprint of this whole deluxe shebang.

mp3s/fanclub membership = 51bucks. kinda steep but at least I get a t-shirt. to be honest the main reason I bought the roll call thing was for tickets. If this fanbase goes the route of Pearl Jam/Dave Matthews Band seniority in the fanclub for tickets is going to become important. for Dave Matthews Band back in the day I was a 1st year member and would score tickets ALWAYS within the first 15rows, generally ended up in the first 10rows. people who became members even the next year got significantly worse tickets than the 1st year members. if this is going to be their future ticketing system I'm curious if there will be seniority or not. If there is no seniority eventually the incentive for being a member would decrease dramatically. definitely looking forward to how much further they take the experience.

Just ordered the deluxe set + roll call, I couldn't help myself. And this after I spent a bunch of money on getting my MMJ posters framed, not the best timing but oh well. I'm also in need of a record player, even though I already had Okonokos and a few other records.

I went with the Digital download and Roll Call membership. I plan on travelling a lot for some Jacket shows this summer/fall so thats where a majority of my money is gonna go! I'm hyped to get the shirt as well!

That was my initial impression when I saw the picture too. But then I thought -- think that compact-disc-looking object could possibly be the DVD?

i would almost guarantee the deluxe comes with a cd. even if it's just in a slip case.
the green vinyl looks glorious and i want it but i have a lot of colored vinyl. My set up is pretty meager and i find the 180g records to sound much better on my rig.
I bought the CD package and the membership. Then saw this thread. It made me double check the deluxe pack. I ordered that also. If I get an extra CD, then someone gets a gift. I have not played vinyl for 20 years, and I have over 500 albums. I may not play it, but I got to have it.
there's no cd in the deluxe box,
the disc is in the image is the dvd
it does have the download.
Hate to sound whiny, but how can a deluxe set not have a CD included? Sure, we can burn our own with the download, but it won't have the disc artwork on it.
Will the Roll Call be offered separately and not in bundle form?
The download does come with full color booklet PDF.
Roll Call is only in bundle form for now. Don't know if it will get offered separately, eventually I guess, but don't have more details on that yet.

I went with vinyls/roll call, luckily my bud is getting the big package so I can fawn over his and steal the doc. and preview. He's rich, I'm not even close, plus wanna budget for the live box set.
Has anyone received email confirmation of their purchases? I'm assuming mine went through as I have received Octoplasm. Their was an immediate printout receipt but my printer is kaputt. I haven't checked my credit card charges yet, just assumed we would've gotten an email.

I love this thread title btw. ;D So I was drunk last night. Surprise, surprise. I had waited on purchasing anything until I knew that my girlfriend was going to close on a new house for sure so that I could make sure I gave the correct address. I fear forwarding packages and whatnot. I was just planning on getting the vinyl and fan club. Oops, I forgot to check the Roll Call option so all I got was the vinyl for $32 with shipping! :o Then I said fuck it and ordered the Grand Shebazzle as well. Works out well I guess minus the ridiculous amount of money I just spent but at least I'll never spin my Slimer Ectoplasm Vinyl. See Octoplasm and Ectoplasm vinyl. It all connects Venkman. If anyone wants like the DVD and the photo and whatnot, I'll be posting it on EBAY ASAP ;D

I went in for the the super deluxe limited edition Circuital with Roll Call membership option. 127 bucks really wasn't in my soon to be laid off budget but they are the greatest...
I really didn't want to start a new thread about this so I figured here might work. As I've said before, I'm not the biggest Friends Again fan but clearly many people here are. I've gotta think since the album length has already been divulged, there likely would be at least an extra track or two on a double vinyl...no? I'd like to think that that's where we'll be able to get our ears on it. Here's to hoping :beer:
