Is it sir-kit-uhl or sir-kyoo-it-al? They were talking about this on inforoo and I just wanted to see how other MMJ fans felt. I always thought it was sir-kit-uhl but apparently it was announced as sir-kyoo-it-al.
Yeah I pronounced it wrong according to the new video for louisvilles website
Yeah listen to the commercial and jim in the studio version of the song. The second example you gave is closer from what I can tell
It's pronounced sir-cue-it-al ;)
Cool, thanks. Incredible that I've heard the song so many times (starting last August!) and yet was pronouncing it wrong.
You're very welcome. I thought it was the same pronunciation you did when I first saw the word. ;)
If you have ever been lost and driven in circles, but finally found your destination, you have taken a circuital route.
You don't want to know how I pronounce it... I don't think I'll ever be able to say it right! ;)

According to some translators, in Swedish "Circuital" is "Ampères"

My inner grammar nazi is coming out -- I think the word in that context would be
circuitous. :-X

You know I posted that in the wee hours. I realized before I read your respond I was wrong, and then it was pointed out. Same general idea though.

Haha, really? I have never seen that word in my life! ??? Though I understand the word (or so she thought...) I can't think of a fitting translation. Circuital would be the adjective form of circuit, or? HELP! ;)
And you can hear Jim say Okonokos on this show: http://www.kcrw.com/music/programs/mb/mb061027jim_james_and_carl_b (http://www.kcrw.com/music/programs/mb/mb061027jim_james_and_carl_b) unless my memory is playing tricks on me.

Sorry, Dewie, I just realized we posted the same link. Seems everyone is wrong with how they say it.
By the way, love your music.

   I give that comment 3 thumbs up!! As far as pronouncing CIRCUITAL, no matter how many times I practice it, when I have to say it to someone (because I'm pushing people to buy this album like a dealer) I always fumfur it anyway.
Patrick pronounced the name of the album in the youtube video they tweeted recently - check it out to settle the debate :)
