I literally had no idea, then noticed your name. Easily Quadrophenia. They could make it their own.
Prime Time- Deion Sanders
zep III or neil young harvest
Ten - Pearl Jam!! :D
Purple Rain - Prince, Surrealistic Pillow - Jefferson Airplane
loaded-velvet underground, IV or houses of the holy- led zeppelin
Pink Floyd - Meddle!
When you break it down, that album is perfect for them. I think they are the only band that could do it justice.
Side 1
1. "One of These Days"
2. "A Pillow of Winds"
3. "Fearless"
4. "San Tropez"
5. "Seamus"
Side 2
1. "Echoes"

Definitely Pink Floyd at the top...I have a hard time even deciding on one during run of Live at Pompeii through Animals. I really they would do any of those justice.
Physical Graffiti would be my Zep choice. I've always thought that the Off the Record jams are very Zeppelinesque
Pet Sounds
Revolver, Rubber Soul, Abbey Rd
Soft Bulletin or Yoshimi

Quadrophenia was the first thing I thought of. Bring the Horns!!! or Rust Never Sleeps (as a concert album of a concert album I guess??) Whatever as long as it rocked live.
So many
Metallica Kill them all
Neil Young Live Rust
Pantera Far Beyond Driven
Queens of the Stoneage Songs for the Deaf
could go on and on

That is very funny. With all you mention about Floyd, you point out Off the Record sounding like Zep. I always thought the instrumental jam was Shine on You Crazy Diamond Pt 3.

I could totally see that, but somethin in the lead guitar and keys really reminds of a live take of No Quarter

Might be a little tricky for even Tommy to pull off something that is the equivalent of Entwistle's amazing work on this masterpiece but I agree Rincon that they could make this their own. Seeing A Quick One in NYC was special enough but this would be whole next level shit.
I also like the Blood on the Tracks choice.

I would most like to hear their interpretations of the overtures, Quadrophenia and the Rock. We would see how awsome Bo really is. As far as Tommy on songs like The Real Me, it might not be his style, but I bet he has played it while alone in his room as a teenager.

If this happened I would just close up shop and walk straight to the gates of heaven. (If they'll have me.)
Sticky Fingers would be pretty cool. I'd love to see them do Can't you hear me knocking with Carl doing that sax solo. Plus a lotta room for some beautiful singing by Jim and some great slide guitar opportunities. I think they could do some cool pedal steel stuff
Primus - Pork Soda
I've always wanted to hear a cover of Kiss by Prince. There are so many great Prince songs that Jim could pull off...
Also I agree with the Pink Floyd. After finally seeing the F'Lips do TDSOTM. (I've also seen a huge production here in Louisville covering the dark side and Wish you Were Here). Pink Floyd definitely had a great sense of album and not songs, and mmj is good at making a show seem like one long ridiculous amazing jam.
Odessey & Oracle by the Zombies would also be killer.

I actually think it would be great if MMJ announced a festival set or something "covering a landmark album", and then played 3 or 4 songs from something like this and just played MMJ songs for the rest of the night.
Hulkster in Heaven is a great song. That album blows my mind all the time, but not in the same way mmj does

Hearing Jim cut loose on "Moral Kiosk" or "Catapult" would be it for me I think. From there, I'd just ascend into the sky.

Forget Dark Side of the Moon. It's been done to death. In fact, I can't even listen to it anymore I've heard it so dang much in my life.
