If this is anything like Pearl Jam's christmas 45s, expect it to be released around Easter 2012.

Jim is at least 70% less hairy, whereas Carl seems to have added close to 5%

Note the Xmas EP is an iTunes thing, so does that mean digital only?

And the limited edition 7" vinyl single are the two Muppet songs: Friends Again and an alternative take of Outta My System.

Also, I'm guessing the photo above is not recent, only 'cause Carl was clean shaven just a few days ago in LA and Jim had his massive mane.

looks like the photo might be a few years old, around the time of the "I'm Not There" benefit concert they performed at the Beacon in NYC  (Nov 7, 2007). I remember Jim sporting similar facial hair and that blue sweat shirt at the show. Pre black and brown Trish  ;)

I agree that some of this should be available to RC members first, mostly 'cause I'm one.   ;)

The I-tunes stuff is usually available at midnight of the release date.  That means I'll be listening to the ep at 10:00 AZ time (and 9:00 for you lucky Californians).

Maybe this will be on sale at the shows this week. It may be a while for I can stop in at the record store so picking on of these up early would be great.

You're not kidding! Such a warm song...Carl's pedal steel is absolutely beautiful on this one. Simple songs > over-complicated ones.

I wouldn't count on it. The last 2 Wilco limited releases (I Might 7" and Speak into the Rose 10") did not come with a download code, but some nice fans have been able to convert the tunes to mp3 and share. I'm sure the MMJ tunes will get out there somehow.
