A tweet from MMJ tour manager Eric Mayers, referring to Jimmy the P, MMJ roadie, at the IFC Independent Spirit Awards, which airs tomorrow night @ 10 pm on IFC...
@Eric_Mayers: God smiling down upon Jimmy The P. #mmj #ifcspiritawards http://t.co/lRgWy9Yn (http://t.co/lRgWy9Yn)

Good info to have!

Very nice photo work there, John. Now if anyone can tape their performance for those of us who don't have IFC, life would be awesome.
Thanks, Fully, but that photo is not my handiwork. Bo tweeted that his performance tonight would be dedicated to Bryan Cranston and someone replied with that photo. I should have given credit where due, but... photo by Desi Moore (@DudeItsDesi).
MMJ on the red purple carpet this afternoon...

Being that I am an awards show junkie (sad but true) I was planning on watching this anyway, but now I'm sooooo excited.

the levels of awesomeness contained within your work are rich. Bromine is an underrated element, much like Bo himself.
If anyone wants the link to stream online: http://www.ifc.com/syncs/spirit-award?tz=e (http://www.ifc.com/syncs/spirit-award?tz=e)

I'm gonna keep looking though. Wish I had IFC.

they played OBH
Thank god they came on an hour in. I understand now why everyone there enjoyed getting plastered on whiskey, courtesy of one of the sponsors. A mid-afternoon buzz to kill the pain of an award show so cool it doesn't give a shit, I guess.
MMJ were, of course, good... though not great. I was quite surprised they dusted off that golden oldie OBH. Carl's guitar was nearly absent from the mix, so one had to wait for Jim's guitar to save the day at the end.
EDIT - weird, but watchIng it on the DVR this morning, Carl's guitar is right on.

Awesome - thanks for posting. Definitely beats last night's slam dunk contest...
sounds pretty damn good to me!! I'm loving the song choice given the event...that had to have been loud
thx for the link, CC

You sure you don't? We just got it for free out of nowhere (but lost Game Show Network)

I noticed the shoes, too. Too bad they had to play the shortened version of OBH. I'm surprised but pleased they didn't play something from Circuital. And that drum link from SaraBB has me intrigued. Patrick got a sweet looking kit for the Circuital tour (all I can go on is look, as I know less than jack squat about drums), so I'd be surprised if he were doing more than giving these a test drive.
Um........HOW DID I MISS THIS???? I am an awards show junkIE!!!!!! F me!!!!!
(but thanks for the link) ;D
If you go to the IFC page http://www.ifc.com/galleries/the-2010-spirit-awards (http://www.ifc.com/galleries/the-2010-spirit-awards)
you'll notice pictures of Dave Grohl, but where are the MMJ pictures? They've been Grohl-ed again.
Little baby Carl wants to be a rock n roll star. Look at those moves and that hair
I've held the opinion for a few years now that Carl has the best hair in rock & roll.
better quality up now:

Carl is my favorite member of the jacket. For some reason I'm fascinated with the fact that he's so shy at times, and blows up others. I love watching him at shows.
