The coolest things I have heard about so far is a vinyl reissue of the only two albums by NYC early 70s trio DUST (with Marky Ramone on drums and future KISS producer Richie Wise on guitar). I have one of their albums already, but I think I might just pick this up anyway.
Built To Spill Live Re-Issue will be another one.
I'm excited to get Mad Season's reissue on vinyl

That is awesome, really dug the stuff I heard from them after hearing the song Suicide that Red Fang covers all of the time.
So far, the item I want most isn't even a record. I want one of those sweet Jimi Hendrix posters.
Here is a pretty extensive list of announced RSD '13 releases. I've got my eye on a few things, most notably that Justin Townes Earle "Yuma" on Opaque vinyl.

I think it was around the first time MMJ played Austrailia that an someone from that country started a thread about them, and I listened for 10 seconds and knew I had to buy the ep. I don't even think it was available in the US at the time?? I listened to it that summer over and over and over. I wish I could remember the name of the forum member who recommended them.

Even though we probably will never be able to play them all at once, my wife (LeanneP) has decided we need to own the Flaming Lips' Zaireeka 4LP set that's coming out on RSD. We do already own the 4 CD set of it, but it will be cool. One of our first times hanging out together was at a party listening to the 4 CDs simultaneously...

No, they weren't around for long but maybe a year or so. We lost that old music thread so I can't find it.
I found this. "extremely limited"? I wonder what that means, exactly...
Tame Impala Will Release a Record Store Day Exclusive
Australian psychedelic group Tame Impala have confirmed a Record Store Day exclusive. On April 20, Record Store Day, the Perth-based band will release Tame Impala EP 12", which features an expanded version of the outfit's debut 10" release of 2008. This time the collection will be available on 12" red vinyl.
In addition, the EP includes two tracks—"Forty One Mosquitoes Flying in Formation" and "Wander"—which will be available for the first time on vinyl. Download codes are also included with the record. Tame Impala EP 12" release will not be available online, and both runs are extremely limited.

Funny, I called my guy at Pitchfork Records in Concord, NH. He picks up the phone...
"How come you only call for Record Store Day?" Busted! I hate caller ID.
So, I got my Tame Impala EP most likely.... Yay!
I don't have a big personal want list, but if folks are looking for some hard-to-find rare stuff and will reimburse me for shipping, let me know and I'll get what I can (afford).
I'm sure this is pretty much the same as the previous link that had a list of RSD 2013 releases but I thought I'd provide the official list just in case: http://www.recordstoreday.com/SpecialReleases (http://www.recordstoreday.com/SpecialReleases)

That's pretty sweet, but I'm gonna have to go with a MEH, I don't like picture discs enough to pay whatever they're asking. I could stand to have fresh regular copies of those records, though.
yeah I'm with you guys. I don't imagine this being under 140 ish. I only have their first in vinyl so if its closer to 100 I might pull it off. But with the likes of Houndmouth, Wolf People and Futurebirds on the way, I might just skip RSD this year.

Can't wait for tomorrow, 9:00 am will hopefully lead to a happy weekend.
I was just saying on FB that alienlanes worked at a record store all week helping them get ready for RSD and got an advance buying oppourtunity. So here is our haul:
Pink Floyd "See Emily Play" pink 7", Bombino 10", Deep Purple/Type O Negative split purple and clear swirl 7", Tame Impala 12" ep re-release, Grateful Dead "Rare Cuts and Oddities 1966" double LP and Zaireeka box set.
We may get more at a different record store (so lucky to have a couple in the area) in the morning.
Happy Record Store Day!

Just got Destroyer - This Night, Iron & Wine 7", and Doors/X 7".
Can anyone hook me up with any of these At The Drive-In, Built To Spill, White Stripes, Tame Impala?

My RSD Wins:
Tame Impala EP (FUCK YES)
Shearwater & Sharon Van Etten (AWESOME)
The Joy Formidable (BADASS)
Tift Merritt (PERFECT)
...and I got a shitload of other non-RSD stuff. I am very lucky that the demand for Tame Impala in my region is not the way it is on this forum, as I was 1.5 hours late getting to the place I should have been, and there were three copies left, out of the reported 10 they had received, and the rest were gone five minutes later.

That's a bummer weenie. Don't give up yet, there's bound to be some out there still looking for a good home  . Yeah I know I went by one shop today, http://www.crookedbeat.com/, (http://www.crookedbeat.com/,) and they still had a decent supply of stock from RSD and a few of the Soundgarden so if you check out their inventory online tomorrow they'll probably have it listed for sale as I think they said anything that's not sold this weekend will be placed for sale online.
Made out pretty good
The Band
Blitzen Trapper
Dust
Manchester Orchestra/Frightened rabbits
Misfits/Lemonheads
plus a few other non rsd stuff
Tenacious D 180 Gram
Black Sabbath 180 Gram
Mountain Goats Get Lonely
Crazyhorse Zuma
Only thing that I missed that I was really looking for was the Deftones release, but I'm sure I'll be able to find it at some point.
When I got there at 5 am? Last year I got there way earlier and was first, couldn't make it that early this year so was 4th(http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/04/22/ymase3u3.jpg)

One of the selling points in Boston. Newbs and Hipsters go to the Newbury Street Newbury Comics. I go to the Faneuil hall one every year. I got up 7:30 and got there 8:15am. I was 7th in line (3rd if they told anyone they moved the line).

Thanks so much! I'll definitely check it out.
Went to 3 stores and got zero RSD releases. The main records I wanted was Mad Season and the The White Stripes. Really wish I had better stores in my area, the third store I hit was about 30 miles away and I ended up getting the new JJ Grey and Mofro, Tool's Undertow, and Hoodoo Man Blues by Junior Wells and Buddy Guy, I could leave empty handed after the frustration of not finding the RSD albums I wanted.
The owner of the last store said he didn't order too many Mad Season albums because they will be releasing more in the future. That didn't help me now!! The guy is a know it all and loves to let everyone know how smart he is. I try not to ask him many questions since he can be very patronizing.
Ten Club has Mad Season Vinyl up for sale if anyone missed it during RSD... must be a member to purchase though.
Was the RUSH Record Store Day shirt a Canada only thing or was it available elsewhere too?
I picked one of those babies up. It is sweet!
