There was a Hold Steady reference on Sportscenter (of all places) last night.  John Buchigras (I'm sure I just butchered his name) is the responsible anchor.  I was nodding off so I missed the whole thing, but he said something like "Basketball player A is to Basketball team A as Craig Finn is to the Hold Steady."  You know the Hold Steady?" to which Scott Van Pelt replied, "I know the Hold Steady."  Now that's famous.
