This is why glow sticks should only be for 7 year old kids at Disneyland. No matter the intentions, some asshat always throws them at the band. Boooo on glow sticks at rock shows.

I'm all for people enjoying the show however they choose...so long as it's not bothering someone else, band and audience members included.  Your good time shouldn't lead to someone else's annoyance.

I assume you're joking but if not please don't.  They are a skin irritant and can get you sick.  I played a show once and our percusssionist decided to break one open and put it on his bongo heads.  He ruined his drums heads and the next day had rashes on his hand was was throwing up pretty badly.  Actually that was the Jacketfest show, some peeps around here might remember that.

the glowsticks at MSG were nowhere near as bad as they were at Merriweather this summer. And they spent most of the show throwing them at the stage and not straight up in the air.
