i can hear that. I thought they were about to play Steam.

also, was it just me or did Masterplan have a *slightly* different sound last night than, say, the live versions from last year? Wonder if it has to do with the remastering of ISM and them revisiting those songs. Its sounded heavier in recent live versions compared to what I hear from last night...

the fact they only played from the most recent two albums and ISM, makes me wonder if we will get all of ISM over the two nights at Red Rocks. Maybe not straight thru, but all of the songs.  The Louisville shows next week should give us a glimpse

4 of my GOOD CLOSE friends deleted their forum account because of exactly what i said, being negative. And I stood up for it, yet now I am starting to believe them.

Compare this to the facebook page...

To each their own but jeez man, if you think this place is negative I don't think you've visited too many other bands sites.

This place is so far from what I would consider negative, I can't even comprehend where you're coming from. Sure there's discussion back and forth the way a forum should be, and some negative thoughts but those negatives are few and far between,IMO.  Unless you think anything that doesn't agree with your thinking is negative.

There's way, way more positives on this site than negatives as far as I'm concerned.

Maybe some people dont want discussion, we just wanna jam and not have any bad vibes when it comes to our favorite band. Sure there are some things they do I dont like but its not like I need to write a 6 paragraph essay about them.

This is a discussion board where many people come for discussions.  I have to second ericm's point that things are overwhelmingly positive here (except when discussing Wonderful Union of course).

Sweatband has an opinion.  That's great!  I read that he loves Slow Slow Tune, definitely not amongst my favorite MMJ songs.  But I get it.  Some people don't like Black Metal.  That's fine too. While I am a fan, I also get that it's not for everyone.

Yeah, I loved that they played Slow Slow Tune.....When that guitar cuts in it's like a lightning strike to the soul.

I could see Throwback working really well as a transitional song live, they could take that jam out sesh in the middle (which I was really digging) and easiyl slide in and out of multiple songs of theirs to create something totally new and beautiful live.....

I get what some people are saying that lyrically and all it's a bit on a the pop side of the spectrum but I'm ok with some new happy catchy tunes when they have such a fun intricate jam in them!!  I'm in.  CANNOT WAIT FOR RED ROCKS

Captured stream is still on YouTube, starting just after the 12 1/2 minute mark...

I see a torrent download link above.  I'm downloading the YouTube archive video and will upload to my Mediafire account and post soon...

I was the first person NOT to get in from the standyby line but a guy took pity on me and gave me his extra.

I'm glad the full band finally got to play Moody.  There really isn't anywhere else they should play anymore in Austin.

I would have liked something off AD or TTF or Z but it's a free Jacket show that I was lucky to get into so no complaints.

I'm in the pro Throwback camp.

How far back were you? I got there at 3 and was 15 in line. Glad you made it in!

i saw people behind me in line later in the show.  once people started leaving they must start letting more in.  half of my row was never filled.
