New to the posts but a frequent reader.  little talk about these videos on youtube -- 6-3-03 Austin - The Parish - or at least recent discussion.  whats the story about this show?  there are definitely "professional" film crews here.  it is incredible - with so many fans to have only 300 or so "views" of steam engine, war begun, OBH, will you sing etc.  Mahgeeta with only 145 views = how may times had they played this song at this point?  check them out - not quite the beginning of the band but there is history in the making here.  it would be nice..during the "hiatus" to release an ablum like this - i guess that is what okonokos is - but this is raw - with a bunch of frat boys standing around... Bring back the long hair and looking forward to something new in 2010!

can not wait for MOF - listened to the three songs probably 20 times and have at least 20 friends ready to buy the album.

any history on this concert would be appreciated.

It was recorded for public television in Austin. About three years ago the videos started popping up on youtube.  They disappear and reappear from time to time so those view numbers are not accurate. I'm not sure there's another "story", just another kickass jacket show which happened to be recorded professionally.

War Begun from that show is dedicated to our very own Lowdawg (George Savage), There's another tidbit.  8-)

Yeah, it's the perfect companion piece to OKONOKOS! showing the band in it's previous form.   Very well made, great sound.  An official release would be nice but I guess that probably will never happen.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.
