Thought all would enjoy this kids comment on the courier site, really cool:

If I end up old and tired and probably in debt from being a music major, I'll always have this little jewel to look back on: I was a senior in high school and I was an orchestra geek and our director got us a gig with the most incredible rock band you will ever see. There were thirteen thousand people there and Jim James called us gangsters and we could feel the stage pulsing beneath our chairs. Fantastic, epic night. :)

Aw!  That's really cool. What a fantastic experience that must have been for them.

LYSO was great, and I wonder what the young people were thinking and experiencing up on stage.  I imagine many had a sense of euphoria playing in front of 13,000 people and supporting MMJ.  What an experience for them, and definitely something they'll always remember.

For their part, they helped make an incredible concert experience a memorable one for me.
