QuoteAnyone find it scheduled on their local PBS channel?  I'm having a hell of time finding it.  I wanted to capture it on my DVR.

Hi! Looks like it will be running beginning tomorrow on pbs and on demand...this is from the website:

Online and On-Demand
After the live show, experience the magic of the National Christmas Tree Lighting any time you want without ever leaving your home. Beginning Friday, December 10th, watch the full show including every performance, presenter and holiday festivity right here at www.thenationaltree.org.

Broadcast
In partnership with WETA, Washington, D.C.'s flagship public broadcasting station, public television stations nationwide will begin airing the 2010 National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Friday, December 10th and continue throughout the holiday season. Viewers are invited to check for local airdates or check their local public station schedules for broadcast dates and times.

Nice, thanks!   I did a search on my local PBS station and nothing is coming up but it's good to know that it will be ON Demand and streaming online for repeated viewings!
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

your local search might be coming up empty just because it's still weeks away and not in the guide.

might help.   Boston, for example isn't until 12/22.

I know but just between you and me, my real motivation is to send out a mass e-mail to all my friends and family that I have annoyed over the last several years with my over the top MMJ fandom!   It will say something like this:

Just wanted to let you know that Jim James from My Morning Jacket is going to play a Christmas song on PBS at 8 pm on Wednesday.   Oh and I think the president and BB King will be there too.
