Yeah - You guys can laugh about this! I have to LIVE with this! My state went stoopid!!! :-[ Arrrrrrrrgh!!! But if it's good for some laughs for you guys, by all means.... But do me a favor, and pray for those of us who are disgusted that "the Octopus" is head honcho! >:(

Man, i feel sooo sorry for you, I'd feel sorry enough if you had got some normal, non-famous person for a governor that you didn't like but to have some guy famous for his acting skills to be voted as a governor, well, that's just bad. We had a discussion 'bout this in our communications lesson and it got round to no one agreeing with this decision and thinking that someone who had done something much more worthy than acting, like, say...something for the third world or woteva...i dunno, just my own dumb thoughts but yeah...my deepest sympathies.

Sorry, just realised how horrid and nasty that sounds to people who actually voted for Arnie :-[
I'm really sorry about that but i had a hell of a day yesterday and then was woken up at 6:00 this morning by some bl**dy idiot having a shower and then blow drying their hair in the empty room next to mine because they didn't want to wake up anyone else in the wing >:( >:( >:(

I just think its a damn shame that people are so shallow as to vote for someone just because of name recognition alone:

Arnold, Regan, Bush, Kennedy, etc.

But if the people of California wanted him, I say they deserve that jackass.

Congrats to the Republican party on their big power-grab.

That's just it - I don't think the people of California know what they want! I have friends who voted for him but couldn't give a reason why. The guy I voted for got 2% of the vote, but he's brilliant! I knew what his platform was, what kind of record he had, and voted my conscience. People don't know enough about politics. I'm glad they voted, but I wish they knew what they were voting for.

Here's another way of looking at it....

What is the difference between Arnold and Sonny Bono, Clint Eastwood, and Jesse Ventura?

ANSWER: Although Bono, Eastwood and Ventura were elected by NAME RECOGNITION/CELEBRITY STATUS, they had actual political ideals and views.

Arnold is a Republican? I don't think so. Methinks the wifey is the brains in that arrangement.
