agree with the above, but more than anything, just go see them live.

I think they have been on fire over the last year, agree with parker, listen to the recent NYE run at MSG, particularly 12/29 and 12/30. Or better yet, watch the webcast from the shows if you can access them.

I got the sax.

The name would obviously be Our Boring Racket -- but don't you have to mashup another act or two in one's cover band these days? I'm thinking My Bloody Chemical Life with the Brightest Morning Diamond Thrill Kill Jacket Kult

Warpaint and Amo Amo opening RR nights and Warpaint again for Forest Hills.

Wish there wasn't an opener and don't know much about Amo Amo but Warpaint is pretty cool.

Unless not posted it seems like everyone has a gap in their schedules for this time frame.  Seems like the perfect time to make a new album...  Anyone seen different on schedules?
I like the way you think.

Definitely agree!  I like how we're putting them positive vibes out there for the band to record.  Jim's all about that.

I'm a stones fan, but what garbage this is. Tix to the festival every other day are $75. The thursday the stones play they are $185 and will be very limited. This is gonna piss a lot of hardcore jazz fest goers off I would imagine. Tons of folks book their travel plans way in advance, and now the thursday fest is essentially not available to them.

Thursday, May 2 General Admission Tickets

Price: $185
Day-specific Thursday, May 2 tickets are required for entry.
May 2 will be a limited capacity Jazz Fest day
Tickets are expected to sell out quickly
Second weekend single-day tickets are not valid on Thursday, May 2.
100% agree, I'm afraid that's the directions festivals are heading too.

Tim replied to someone asking on social media saying the band is not backing him

that's a bummer. Thinking about it with this new information, I guess they would have announced them as backing on this tour when they released the dates. Regardless, I love the track and hope the rest is as good.

Agree it's definitely a bummer.  But I'm still getting tickets to the Los Angeles show today.

And I still think Strand Of Oaks would be perfect for the next One Big Holiday.
