Pancakes vs. Waffles

So there's this debate about which is better (in your opinion, of course) for breakfast....we're having a breakfast at work, and we're wondering what should be made and those are the two choices...what would YOU choose?

I'm going with pancakes.  I LOVE pancakes....mmmmmmmm that makes me hungry right now for some!

im going with primushead here.  FRENCH TOAST!  fresh fruit and whipped cream tastes much better on french toast than a waffle!

I had pancakes in the US - man, that was a HUGE portion!

dragonboy, you so have to try waffles!! they are GREAT! really fresh, crunchy waffles, nothing better.

mmj-fanatic - my favourite brekky place serves them with yoghurt - its kind of thick, and not too sweet, so it works well with the maple syrup!!

not too sure about the whole "whipped cream on french toast" thing though.... banana yes, maple syrup yes, but whipped cream??? :P

yes whipped cream on french toast, i know how it sounds, but the other day at cracker barrel, i had french toast with blackberries and whipped cream, and it was one of the best things ever.   :)

Waffles are pancakes made a different way.  Now, french toast, that's somethin' else.  Mmmmm.

I can eat more breakfast than anybody I know, and that includes my Dad, and that man eats.  Holy.  Now I totally wish I was in the states and could go to IHOP for breakfast.  The fancy places where I live just don't cut 'er the same.
