Henry Hudson & Christmas parties

I somehow missed the fact that Henry Hudson's crew mutinied and put
him and his son, along with 7 other crew memebrs loyal to Hudson, on
a small boat and set them adrift in James Bay where they were never
to be seen again. I missed all that. There's even a painting of the event.
(it's amazing what you can learn from someone's bookshelf at a Christmas
party where you're bored as hell but your wife is still chatting away...And that
look in ol' Henry's eyes? That's pretty much how I felt right before I tugged on
her coattail and whimpered to leave)
