Exactly.  Start picking out team names.  Mounties? Gignatic Red Leaves? Bacon? And are you going to call your team Toronto or Ontario or Canada?  I like the Ontario Upper Mexicans.

The Toronto Glacier.

And when they score a touchdown, the walls in the end zone roll up and a glacier comes out and engulfs the field.

And the cheerleaders would wear this

I know it's all in jest, but I've never seen a glacier - few Canadians have - unless you live in the Yukon or some other region of the Far North. And now it looks like I better hurry if I ever want to see one. I've never met a Mexican either and I'd hardly compare unfortunate Mexico to rich Ontario, although I enjoy reading in horror about the border troubles in the southern States.

I just hope they don't call them the Bills or the Argonauts (Toronto's CFL team, for you ignorant bastards). If they don't pick some sort of semi-historical name, I'm sad to say that they'll go with the Bills. And you won't have Ontario mentioned in the name either since most of the province and country for that matter hates Toronto. Realistically though, Buffalo folks are a lot more worried about their team leaving then the CFL is about the slim possibility that Toronto gets an NFL team. For one thing, the Rogers Centre (formally Sky Dome) is too small to house an NFL team (it tops out at 55 thousand seats) and no one is talking new stadium.

yep, but the streets of Detroit are crawling with Lions...  ;)

I'd love to take you boys, Tracy and Soup, to a Grey Cup game. It's a massive, accessible NON-CORPORATE party. If anyone does plan on going to the Bills-Dolphins game, give me a ring and we'll drink tons of Canuck micro-brews before the game and piss on Toronto Maple Leaf fans.

Before the year started, I thought that Dallas had the best team on paper

7 weeks in, I still think Dallas is the best team, on paper

Jesus, the Raiders are fucking frustrating. The win today was probably the most painful win I've ever witnessed. For a team that is notorious for bonehead penalties, today was about as bad as it gets...but, they squeaked it out.  :-/ >:( :-? :D

Steelers WR Santonio Holmes Pulled Over, Hands Officer Blunts

"We wouldn't expect a steelworker to be laid off or suspended without pay," said Vogel. "I wouldn't expect a police officer, firefighter or a member of the Steelers."
:o A police officer wouldn't get suspended for pot?

That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

Of all weeks Santonio pulls this the week before most likely one of our 3 toughest games of the year...god damnit

Coach T shouldnt of deactivated him though. If we were playing the Bungals this week, then fine, deactivate him.

C'mon Coach, he was just puffin the ganj!! What, you never did that stuff when you were at William&Mary?!

Beat themselves is about as close as it gets...Im still disgusted, but NYG did not beat us, we lost that game

And I guarantee Tomlin's first question during the Tuesday press conference is:

WHY WAS JAMES MOTHERFUCKING HARRISON LONGSNAPPING THE BALL FOR A SAFETY!!!!!!!!??????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you heard of your center, Justin Hartwig, MAYBE, longsnapping the ball instead of your OLB whose nicjname is Silverback?!?!?!!?

No, actually, the Giants did beat you and Eli Manning totally outplayed roffesburger:  4 INTs? 5 sacks? QB rating of 38.5?   ;D

3rd down efficiency?  0/9

lost the time of possession battle by 10 minutes

You got outgained, out coached and out classed AT HOME.

good grief, the Giants are the better team and Manning is the better QB.  sorry  :-/

QuoteThings are looking bad for my Bengals.  I really thing people are really underestimating how bad they are this year.  Pretty soon they will be mentioned among Oakland, St Louis, and Kansas City as one of the leagues worst teams.  Fire Marvin now!

I know my Bengals all too well.  0-8!!  :-[ :-[

I dont know if you watched the game or not, but judging by how close the score was and how staggering these numbers were, PIT outplayed them

Saying Manning outplayed Roethlisberger is a joke. I dont think Manning got sacked once, whereas Roeth was pressured basically every play. And blaming Roethlisberger for 5 sacks just shows your intelligence for football.

The Giants OLine>>>>>PIT Oline, and that was the difference. I figured Roeth would be pressured, but the fact we got no pressure on Eli surprised

And youre kidding yourself if you think Eli Manning is a better QB than Roethlisberger. Hold your Southern bias at the door dude, bc it aint even close

How about the numbers sweetie, since I ain't so smart:

First Downs: GIANTS win 15-10
Third Down Efficiency: Giants win 6-18 to 0-9
Total Net Yards: GIANTS win 282-249
Passing Yards: GIANTS win 199-154
Time Of Possession: GIANTS win 34:24 to 25:36

QB STATS:

Comp   Att   Yds   Pct   Y/A   Sack   YdsL   TD  Int  Rating
E. Manning  19      32    199     59.4  6.2    1  0     87.9

Roethlisb      13   29    189 44.8 6.5      5       35        1  4     38.5

Face it man, you got your heads handed to you AT HOME.   ;D  ;D

You see, when you "Quote" someone, you dont leave out part of what they said

***And sorry, I deleted to pic of Eli with no shirt***

My biggest point was...NYG OLine>>>>>>>>PIT OLine..that was the difference, nuff said. I cant believe that NYG neutralized our pass rush that much, but they did

NYG had 30 more total yards than PIT.....WOW!!

1 of Roeths INTs was a drop from a big hit on the WR, the other was the last play of the game, so 4 INTs is worse than if you watched the game.

That inexcuseable safety changed the game, whether you know it or not

Plus, we didnt have Willie Parker, Marvel Smith, or Santonio Holmes the whole game. Those are quite a few key players missing, but not out for the year, not to mention Ryan Clark who was running shit until he hurt his shoulder (and is likely out for the year)

Even with those stats we still could've (and would've) won if our long snapper didn't get hurt. That's right! Outplayed? That was not a well played game by either team.

Actually I think it was well played by both teams.  That is the kind of game I love to see.  great D by both teams.  It came down to the forth quarter and if you look at the stats the Giants have been owning teams in the 4th quarter in the last 2 years.  Even without bad snap Giants are getting the ball in great field position down by two with a change to at least take a lead on a FG.  Eli is just clutch.

the fact about this game is actually the Giants should've beat them by a lot more.  They owned them in the 1st half but couldn't score a TD.  if a few of those FG's are TD's the Giants win big.  Eli is in the same category as Ben and in the last two years has outplayed him.  People just won't admit it still because he's Peyton's brother but Eli is one of the best QB's in football right now.  He has more come from behind 4th quarter wins than just about anyone in football in the last few years and to me that is much better than stats and big numbers.  Ben hold on to the ball way too long, he is to blame for his sacks just as much as his O line.
