I'm new to this forum-thing, but I just remembered a dream I had last night. I always like to share my vivid dreams because they're really nuts. And I'm sure I'm not the only one with nuts-o dreams.
This one may scare some, but it really happened in my head. I'm amazed every morning at what my little brain can come up with when I let it be free.
So, last night, my dream took place in a big house. My roommate was cooking baby cats and dogs on a hot plate, and serving them just like that. I ate a whole puppy. It was really fucked up. Then I started to feel like I would throw up. Then I had to shower to get ready for work on Valentine's Day (I serve tables at the best Italian restaurant in my little town), and there were already hundreds lined up to come in and I had not yet showered.
Okay, there's my fucked up dream from last night. I'm sure I will have more tales to tell soon. Maybe I'll take some melatonin tonight to make things really interesting.

Did you put any tabasco on it or anything?
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

meggha

nope, no seasoning required for hot-plate cooked cats and dogs, apparently.

That is intense man.  do you dream like that often?  Did the cats and dogs taste good?  Did you wait tables dirty from cat and dog juice?  So many questions....

Hey, I was just going to start a dream thread. You read my mind  :)

I had a really fucked up dream last night. It kind of involved MMJ and them renting my attic (which I don't have) for rehersing. The sick part involved Carl......yeah, I'd rather not take about it. My dreams are always have ridiculously weird scenarios and randomness all over the place.

I dream everynight these days.. And i love it! It's like a second life that I completely control.. Well some of the time.. I have Lucid Dreams about once a week i'd say and most of the others being extremely vivid. Last night was a series of dreams but I had terrible recall today.. Blasted memory! I know Jim was in it along with Tommy.. But that was only part.. The other was cruising the autobahn in my buddy's Saleen.. I'm never short of amazed at how well my mind can make things up. I have an entire city in my dreams that I have never visited.. Well enough of this mumbo jumbo I have some dreaming to do... :o

Thats my biggest problem with dreams, I can only remember them for like 5 minutes after I wake up.

Multiple times Ive woken up too and been like "wow, that would be a great movie screenplay"....but then I go get some OJ, maybe make some scrambies, and then I cant remember 98% of it and my future Oscar for best screenplay is fuct.

I'm doing dream work now and I sleep with my journal next to my bed and I write down everything as soon as I wake up; before my feet the ground I am writing away.

Oh dollin', this was no foot fetish dream. This was sick shit we're talkin' here. Lit-er-uh-lee I woke up and was like, WTF--facial expression and everything. I'd rather not say a thing. ANYWAY, I had a lucid dream last week. It was pretty cool.......it involved Jim  :)

City of Dreams--
yeah i have an entire city my mind has come up with while dreaming. most of them are connected in some way, and most of them are very vivid and memorable for me, and even exhausting.
goose: the cats and dogs in my dream did taste good, until i actually looked at what i was eating. then i felt sick. and yes, i do dream like this a lot. there's always food (although not always this disturbing, but there was another recent disturbing-food-dream involving food that possessed the whole town with evil), and a lot of my dreams do involve work.
Last week, i had a dream where i died in an atomic bomb explosion, and i suddenly felt stuck in a moment that was completely empty and hearing my friend tell me everything would be okay, everything would repeat. That was pretty weird to wake up from.

I had a weird, complicated one last night. I can't remember what happened, but it involved a combination pit bull/cow, with a cow body and a pit bull face.

weeniebeenie

I have strange coincidence dreams. I'll dream of a plane crash and see it on the news the next day or I'll dream about a person I haven't seen in years and bump into them the next day. I once had a dream that my friends cat was being attacked by another cat only to go to her house the next day and find two cats in the yard harassing her cat.
I have never dream't of lottery numbers, horse races or anything like that though. Shame.
How loud can silence get?

Start what we call a Dream Journal.. Just jot down what you can remember before thinking of anything else when you awake.. Pretty soon you'll see patterns within them.. Make sure to include any and every detail you can remember..Time/Weather/People/Clothing/Etc. After noticing patterns you may be able to lucid dream.. Which is incredible.. I enjoy flying around and driving really fast cars.

Yeah, when I was regularly keeping a dream journal I was having very vivid dreams every night.  Never quite got to the lucid dream, though.  I think I need to give it another shot.
