Me and the wife have been watching.  It's definitely funny and entertaining but I'm not totally sold yet.  It can be a bit too cheesy for me at times.  Nice concept.  It's like a rated R High School Musical that somehow made it on Network TV.  :-/
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Last nights was exceptionally funny. Jane Lynch is so damn good. "We started this magazine, 'American Bitch'. It's focus is on the issues of the lesbian pure bred dog owner."

Hermo- Kind of. There is a slight mean streak under current. I think the cheese is intentional and is part of the charm.

Good. Through Disc 1 and 2 of Season 2. I already want to kill of Ziggy. Even though they have shifted gears, I do like that the core story of Barksdale is still there.

So what are your final thoughts on season 1?

Yeah, the Barksdale crew is definitely still prevalent although not as much of a focus with the dock workers coming into the story. Its a nice change of pace though once you get into the new storylines though.

I thought Season 1 was great. Omar is my favorite charater from 1. Lester and Bunk are up there 2. I bothered me when Wallace died. Watching, you forgot at times this was a tv show and not a documetary. I love the fact that you end up sympathizing and empathizing with the "villians".

Heroes was awesome last night. I'm pullin' for Clair, Hiro and Peter but Niki the Ice lady is my favorite!  :D

I haven't watched it yet but I'm glad to hear you say that.  Last season was hugely disappointing.

Does anyone have Dish Network?

I dont have any TV service currently, and there new customer deal is pretty sweet - 20$/month for 1 year, and free HBO and SHO that whole time as well.

What Im wondering is how is their customer service? I used to have DirecTV and there customer sertvice is excellent, and its very easy to get yourself deals or discounts, free programming, etc. from them. My G-rents told me they switched from Dish Network to DirecTV because Dish Network's service blew, but I was wondering if anyone else has any input?

favorite new series this season: glee. this show is both hilarious and adorable. i mean, aca-fellas? how tight is that?

new-to-me tv: i just started watching dexter (on demand is probably the greatest invention ever). anyone else here a fan? i'm only on season 2, but it's good stuff so far.

and, as always, gotta love mad men. i think this is the best series on tv. please tell me some of y'all are watching this season...

OK, just finished Season 3 of The Wire. I wasn't as big a fan of 3 as I was for 1 and 2, until about the last 4 or so episodes when it really kicked into high gear. I excited to start 4. Oh, and Omar still da man.
