QuoteHow about the 12 Hour National Parks documentary on PBS?

Yeah, I'm DVRing the entire series so I can sit down one weekend and watch it.  My girlfriend works in DC for the NPS so she has been hyping this documentary.  I'm a huge Ken Burns fan having watched Jazz and Baseball in their entirety and a good chunk of the WWII one also.

Really looking forward to seeing this.  Burns is the Master :)

QuoteOK, just finished Season 3 of The Wire. I wasn't as big a fan of 3 as I was for 1 and 2, until about the last 4 or so episodes when it really kicked into high gear. I excited to start 4. Oh, and Omar still da man.

Nice.  Still my favorite TV series ever.  I hope you enjoy the last 2 seasons.

Just watched the first hour of the first episode last night.  This is gonna take awhile!  It was great though.  Very well done of course.   I wish I had room on my DVR to record them in HD.  I need a bigger hard drive.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

I'm watching it. I like it so far. I wish I could put Zach Galifianakis in my pocket and carry him around wherever I go.  ;D

Yes to both!  The National Parks documentary makes me want to go camping SO MUCH.  I haven't been to any of the parks they're showing on the program   :-/

Season 3 might be my favorite. Stringer Bell becoming the man, and Marlo on the rise just was a good formula for me. 2 of my favorite character. And you cant beat Hamsterdam.

Season 4 wont let you down at all.

Nice! I missed the first episode and didn't want to start in the middle. Thanks!

Anyone watching Community? I think it's pretty good. And it's nice to see Chevy Chase returning to comedy after a few decades of taking himself way too seriously. It's on hulu, fyi.

I have a hard time finding any Big 4 network show more enjoyable and thoroughly satisfying than Supernatural. I'm glad it's never been a hit.

Has anyone here given The Modern Family a look yet? I really like what I've seen so far. Comes on at 9 tonight.

I was fairly dubious about it initially but my bf wanted to watch the premier a couple o' weeks ago.  Now I'm hooked, however, tonight I will miss it because I will be at MONSTERS OF FOLK!  1.5 hours to count down.... WHOOOOOPEEEEE!! :D ;D

I watched two episodes tonight Dark.  Hilarious.  Reminds me of Arrested Development a little bit.

Amy, I hope your brain is melting at this very moment.

I really liked the 1st couple seasons--the original show theme song is excellent too--but it started to get kind of lame going into season 3 for me.
Sittin' here with me and mine.  All wrapped up in a bottle of wine.

Currently 1/2 way thru season 2 of Californication then I'm diggin into the new season Showtime is hold "on-demand".  Hiarious half hour with some dark undertones.  Duchovny is excellent as a comedic lead

Season IV kicked ass and this year is just as great or even better (the last two seasons are better than the first two seasons). I suggest you perhaps re-examine this great show.

Def 1 of my favorite shows going. Duchovny deserves an emmy. Marcy Runkle is one of the funniest characters on television.

I know some people didnt like season 2 as much as season 1, but I loved season 2. Creating the Lew Ashby character was pure gold.

I still think this show is pretty underrated and overlooked. I liked it from the pilot, but you have to watch at least a half dozen episodes to really love the show and get a good understanding of all the people I think.
