Why can I not stop watching Dealiest Catch?  It's the same episode every week:  Guys look for crabs; Weather turns nasty; Nobody sleeps and everyone gets pissy; A dude either falls into the water or comes really close;  Some boats find crabs, some don't.

I watch it again and again and again...
I'm not saying it's easy...walking into sweet oblivion.

I'm a big fan myself.  I was just thinking about that the other day though, it's like what exactly else can happen?  I did see something today about some editing tomfoolery they were doing...

I've always wanted to use tomfoolery in a sentence.

that show is like a bag of Sun Chips for me, they all look alike and taste the same but once I have one I'm compelled beyond my will to finish the whole bag.

Uh, oh.  This could break my addiction.  I haven't been able to watch Man vs. Wild since I found out he was sleeping at the Four-Seasons and having rescue rafts pre-built for him.  I shall now commence my search for the tomfoolery.

Here is the tomfoolery I spoke of.  http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24202706/

OK, it doesn't really sound that bad to me:

Even a dopey fella like myself doesn't assume that all shots in a sequence are shown (or filmed) in chronological order.

Yeah, it's not too bad.  Nothing like that Man v Wild b.s. you were talking about.  I don't know how they even air that anymore.

Did anybody watch 30 rock last night?  Classic!

What has two thumbs and speaks limited French? ;D
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Got hypnotized by the show Carrier on PBS last night.  About life on an aircraft carrier in the US Navy.  Crazy on many levels, allthough I have questions about the level of sanitation that the Navy insisted upon to give the filmmakers such access.

Nice, thanks for the heads up!  I need a new "earth" fix.  I lost all my DVR'd Planet Earth when I got a new Box a month or so ago.

I really like HBO's John Adams series. All the cast is great, especially Paul Giamatti, Laura Linney and Tom Wilkinson. The series is so well done, its convinced me to root for the Americans over the British... I can't believe I just wrote that.

I've been meaning to watch that but havn't got started yet.  Glad you liked it.  How many hours is it, do you remember?

I haven't watched them all yet, but I think it's a 7-part series. In typical HBO fashion, the length of each episode varies between 1-hour to 1:45. By the way, Danny Huston (son of John and half-brother of Angelica) plays John's cousin Samuel and David Morse plays Washington. Sarah Polley plays Abigail Adams and Rufus Sewell plays Alexander Hamilton. Great cast all-round.

QuoteI watched the Extras Xmas Special last night - absolutely brilliant!!! Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant have made yet another hilariously funny & very moving piece of television...had me in tears  :'(

Hats off to Clive Owen & especially George Michael  ;D ;D ;D
Wasn't that Big Brother scene amazing?!

The cast for This Side of the Truth (Ricky's first co-written/co-directed movie - with Matthew Robinson) is ridiculously great: http://buzzsugar.com/1130316

Arrested Development (my favourite show ever) alumni!  Nigel Tuffnel!  Louis C.K.!  I can't wait.

I'm also glad to know he just finished the first draft of another film, this one with Stephen Merchant.

Check out this blog from the making of the movie.  Holy crap, I'm in tears and I'm only on week three.  Start at the bottom and work your way up.  The audio for week two is long but holy crap, it's worth it.

Indeed he is! Spin-offs rarely work (Joey?!!) but if any character deserves his own show it's Leon Black! Did you see that the guy who plays him is called J.B. Smoove?  ;D  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Not too many people scream and yell as great as Gordon Ramsey. Watching Hell's Kithchen. He is gonna pop a blood vessle in his head one of these days.

I'll watch Hell's Kitchen, but it seems so contrived.  Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares on BBC America (they did an American version last year) is a much better watch in my opinion.  He yells, but it seems real and you can tell that he has a genuine interest in helping some of the young people busting their asses in the kitchen.

You can also tell that he's a dude who has spent a good portion of his life working in the carnival that is a restaurant kitchen.
