QuoteVery true.  Are they still planning on some Deadwood "movies" to wrap up the story.  I think they were talking about that at one point awhile back.

I didn't even know Rome got cancelled. >:(

I enjoyed John from Cincy but I can actually understand why that one got cancelled.

Rome was going to get cancelled due to costs of production (HBO/BBC only planned on a three season series anyway), so the producers settled on squeezing the final two seasons together. If you felt things moved fast in Season II, well, now you know the reason. I think  Rome ranks as one of the best dramas I've seen on TV.

Milch (Deadwood producer/writer/creator) has been screwed by HBO, so those two Deadwood movies may be forever in limbo.

We are highly intrigued by Fringe. It is a shame about Rome, what I saw it was fantastic. Carnivale was great.

HBO has set motion plans to start on George RR Martin's Songs of Fire and Ice series. Some of the best fantasy around. Hopefully they will greenlight it.

Well, Rome is still a complete and satisfying series as it is, so it's not all bad.

I hope they produce the Marin books. Right now, Sam Raimi's new fantasy series based on the Terry Goodkind books will hit the airwaves in November. Look for it on CW affiliates.

Really? Holy shit, how did I miss hearing about that one.

Yeah, HBO would be a great home for Martin. I want everyone to say Winter is Coming and know what it means.....

I thought Awesome Show was kinda dumb. I liked Tom Goes To The Mayor better. I pretty much stopped watching Adult Swim all together.  I miss the days of Home Movies and Sealab 2021.

True Blood #2.  Again.  Awesome.  Hop on people.  You won't be sorry.  Is the theme song Chris Isaac?  Perfect mood setter.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

No it's by Jace Everett. It's called, "Bad Things." I'm loving this show. I bought the first book yesterday and it follows the show very faithfully. I'll be careful not to give any spoilers away, but later the story gets, errr... steamy. Real steamy.

Wow, not sure how it could get any steamier!

Jace Everett huh?  I thought for sure it was Chris Isaac.  I like it.

I'm somewhat ashamed by not mentioning until now how much I love The Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Ignorant naysayers will scoff, but it's a damn fine action series and this year is off to a fast and furious start. And anything with Summer Glau and Garrett Dillahunt in it has to be good (and if you don't know who they are, then look 'em up).

I have Home Movies on DVD, but I miss the ritual of getting baked and watching AS every sunday night when all the shows were good. I haven't watched lately but last I remembered Tim & Eric, Morel Oral, and Frisky Dingo all sucked. I do like The Boondocks, any fans?

I love the Boondocks! So funny. My favorite episode is the Martin Luther King Jr. one, or the R. Kelly one. So good.

Anybody got a link for the second one? The first one was really good. I'm hoping they explain more about the vamps "coming out of the graves" and such.
I miss Buffy :'(
I only have Showtime right now for Weeds and True, you gotta catch up!Especially since you like MLP. I don't want to spoil anything for you but you get to see alot of her this season.

I figured that, have you seen the promotional shot? In season 3 everyone but MLP showed their ass so I've been waiting for that. I'm gonna have to wait for it to come out on DVD to watch, I'll just have to be patient.
