Erroneous! Id actually say his movies are better than most box office staple actors.

Independence Day, both Bad Boys, I Robot, I Am Legend are all above average box office/popcorn movies.

Enemy of the State, Ali, Pursuit of Happiness, and Seven Pounds are all just really good movies.

Now maybe its just because Ive been watching TNT a lot because of the NBA playoffs, but Franklin & Bash has to be the most promoted TV show Ive ever seen. I feel like theyve had promos for this show since February, and its not even a major network.

That said, I'll probably actually watch it to see if its any good. I dont know if the commercials have brainwashed me, but Breckin Meyer and Zack Morris are usually good for a few laughs and the promos look decent from a comedy perspective.

There are two others which compete with this for me in the guilty pleasures stakes - not sure if you can stream them outside the UK:

1.  The Only Way Is Essex (known universally over here as TOWIE)
2.  Made in Chelsea

Both make me wish gun ownership was legal over here, and I regularly find myself shouting at the TV.

I'm almost afraid to even look at what these 2 are about.

Hopefully we get a follow up to This is England '86 soon.

is there anywhere to watch The Killing online? missed sunday's episode, and this weekend is the finale.

I think in the States last week's episode airs on AMC at 11pm on Thursday and Friday at 3am. It may repeat right before the finale. Check your listings. And, BTW, DO NOT miss this last episode. It was the best of the season. On an aside, the Swedish actor that plays Holder, Joel Kinnaman, should get an Emmy or Golden Globe nom. The whole cast is great though. If you know your genre shows, look fast for Tahmoh Penikett, who played Helo from Battlestar Galactica, as Linden's ex-husband. That makes two ex-BSG castmates (the other is Linden's fiance, the great Canuck actor Callum Keith Rennie) and a few Stargate alums.

I agree, I think the guy playing Holder has been great. His character development has also been strong. Obviously I didnt see the episode a couple nights ago, but the prior week was a great character development episode. Blue balls episode this late in the season, no doubt, but it was a great episode looking at it alone.

Im scanning thru tvguide.com, and it looks like The Killing is on at 11pm thursday, but the site says the episode is the finale, according to names on imdb. Im guessing its last weeks episode. If sticky or yac have a better illegal option though, let me know!

Saw last weeks episode this morning, loved it. They finally busted out some intrigue.

As for the finale tonight, ugh, was a heartless episode that cheats people who have stayed on thru the season. I knew it got renewed for a 2nd season, but I figured they put a closure on this season and have a new case next season. Now it looks like this storyline is indefinitely into next season. Im sure i'll watch and see how it goes the first few episodes, but bad call IMO or that strategy if thats how it plays out.

The Killing follows the storyline of the Danish series it is based upon. That show is heading into its 3rd season and is the BBC's top rated drama ever, even with subtitles.

I felt a little jobbed about last night's episode, although it was still really good. But I can see the storyline changing directions fairly quickly next season and I'm not ready to abandon these great characters just yet and there's still plenty of interesting threads to explore.

Here's a good interview with the executive producer I read a couple hours ago:

http://www.tvguide.com/News/AMC-Killing-Finale-Postmortem-1034362.aspx

I know what youre saying on the original, especially because in this article, she references how it took 20 episodes to reveal the 1st season killer (Killing was 13eps). The other highlights to me are that Rosie's killer will be revealed in Season 2 and a new case will be introduced, but she doesnt say if theyll overlap. If theyre smart, theyll overlap, and theyll overlap early.

Last night, I thought it was definitely Richmond, but after reading this, Im sure its not because in every other instance theyve switched up the culprit within a couple episodes. Now, Id favor Balco (the guy last showed trying to kill Richmond), or Richmond's #1 woman he screwed over. Who knows though, still pissed they ended the season that way.

Also, Im not ready to abandon these characters, but Holden was my favorite character, and the finale leaves you thinking he doctored the Richmond tollbooth photos, so that pisses me off as well as not conclusively saying who the killer is  >:(

Can't wait for new episodes of Louie. I freaking love Louis CK. He is hysterical. It may seem wierd, but I have a huge crush on him. I want to be like that chick he met in the bar--- "You're so old!"   ;D

Watched the season premiere of Hoarders last night. Is anyone else strangely entranced by this show? I can't stop watching it. Will makes fun of me for frantically cleaning the house after each episode we watch, but I can't help myself...
