I posted this in the TV Shows That Sucks Thread, figured it should go here...

As for great TV shows, I have pretty high standards before a drama can nudge its way onto my list.

Best shows I've Seen:

- Lost
- Breaking Bad
- Game of Thrones
- Hannibal (If you haven't seen this yet, it is on Amazon Prime.  Watch it!! It is like House of Cards meets Dexter in the best way possible.  Super phenomenal.  Warning, it is not for the faint of heart.)
- House of Cards
- Dexter
- Newsroom
- Fargo (great show, watch it!)

- American Horror Story (the coven season was weak, but every other season has been great so far)
- The Walking Dead (this show could be so much better than it is right now.  It seems to formulaic)
- The Americans (I am a season behind, but good stuff so far)
- Bates Motel
- Orphan Black

unless of course you've seen both of these and didn't like them, which would be very hard to believe as both are so so SO Good!!!

The Wire..... the greatest TV show of all time.  Okay even with Breaking Bad.

Six Feet Under...... the greatest series finale of all time!  Even better than the series finale of Breaking Bad.

Been watching Preacher. I read the comics when I was younger so it's pretty weird to see how they're doing this, but it's getting better. Joe Gilgun has absolutely nailed Cassidy.

Other than that, have been on Britcom binge on Netflix and Hulu, especially The Mighty Boosh (a music joke gold mine) and The Inbetweeners.

Didn't even know it was a comic but I'm loving the show.

I've watched the first one and was like this is pretty decent, then John Turturro popped up and I was fully in. He's so damn good.  I was exhausted when I watched ep 2 and fell asleep but will watch this week before ep 3.

I watched the first 2 episodes of The Night Of last night and was coming here to post about it. Love it so far. crazy story, can't wait to see how it plays out.

yea - I'm really enjoying the Box/Weiss and Stone/Chandra plots. Reminiscent of The Wire (if that's not too blasphemous)

Anyone watch the Viceland channel? I think it's the best thing to happen to TV in awhile. Weediquette is my favorite show on there so far.

started it, the Olympics and Lockn stream happened, and now back on it. Watched ep 2 last night.

Oh my--Cassidy is my favorite part of the show!  I loved that opening bit on the pilot where they had the crazy fight on the private jet and he falls to earth with an umbrella.  There was also a brief clip of him jabbering at Preacher as he walks to the door of the church then heads outside--Cassidy gets hit by a small ray of sun briefly and he's like Aiyee! as he jumps out of the light and you see a little smoke rise from his arm

I've started watching The BBC version of The Office. Ricky Gervais just cracks me up! I just couldn't get into the US version.
