Goddamn it, I fucking hate Wal-Mart!

I'm not going to subject you to a socio-political rant, but...

I was in that bitch last night, and some snot-nosed kid had spilled Jello (how random!) on the floor, and I slipped in it and busted my ass.

I mean, twisted my ankle and fell out in the middle of the aisle.

Someone is supposed to contact me in a few days about a "settlement" and all, but goddamn! My ankle is bruised and swollen, and...

I hate Wal-Mart even more now.

(excuse the vulgarities, please  :-[ )

Quotei guess my only complaint at the moment is my scary lack of social life and apparently perpetual singledom

:(

How is that possible?  You are attractive, smart and obviously have great taste in music.  ;)

I have a friend who is the same way.  It doesn't make any sence.

Too bad you live on the opposite end of the world.  I would hook you two up.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

ali

love a song for the way it makes you feel

Student loans, feeling like crap for 3 years...and perpetual singleness
We could.

Angry Ewok

Take the perpetual singleness as an obvious blessing, guys and gals... At least your not "sort of" in a relationship, where you know you aren't wanted or needed by your "partner", and where your desire to even see the person has done nothing but downward spiral for a course of 2 or 3 months because you're avoiding the conversation and hoping that somehow things may revert back to their better ways when she realizes that you might actually have been worth keeping...

Not that I'm going through that, or anything.

megisnotreal

Yeah, perpetual singleness sucks.

FarmerYoda

yes but the opposite does not if it isn't mutual... ohhh highschool relationship problems! what fun!

FarmerYoda

Oh yeah, that sucks. Worse than singledom I'd say. I hope anyone going through that gets out of it soon. I've been through that when you try to be as 'good' as you can in the hope they'll stay, only to find he's been cheating. Got rid of him though and now life is much better  ;D

(without that break, I wouldn't have greggy - shudder to think about that  :'()

the new itunes.
DON'T download unless you have to...

Dee.

I had so many problems with 7 that I went back to 6 and am stickin' with it until I get a new iPod.  A lot of people have said they've had no problems, but it was a nightmare for me.

FarmerYoda

how do you go back to 6? i must

tomEisenbraun

are you serious?

once you let it upgrade all your music to seamless, it's such a frickin beautiful thing. live albums with no breaks in between songs. completely listenable mars volta albums. it's just, it's beautiful.

I don't know if you have Windows or Mac, but check out the Apple forum, it helped me.

oh come on Rats.

it's so sweet though, because there's a few live recordings I have (namely Andrew Bird's Bonnaroo set) where they have a break in there where it kind of screws up the flow and feel. and now there's absolutely no transition. it's beautiful.

Thankfully, I've got the newest iPod, 5.5th Generation, and it has gapless playback and whatnot. Dark Side of the Moon cannot be listened to without it.

So this not-so-new-anymore school thing that I got into is really great. It's much better for me, definately, and it's pushing me very hard.  Right now though, I'm incredibly stressed out... this semester I'm taking an english course called Individuals and Institutions... we have mixed classes adn theresonly 4 of my kind in there... and like 2 juniors and all the rest are seniors!  Each time we fniish a paper we have a paper reading and just hearing all theirs is intimidating by itself... so when I read mine it doesn't seem nearly as good! Maybe just beacsue I'm only comfortable enough with it because I've worked with it so much...

So while it is pushing me, it's also increidbly discouraging.  I know that in the long run it will pay off, however, right now it's just blahhhh. I have no words.

I guess I don't know if I'd even consider this a complaint, but it seems like it sort of fits the criteria.

ANYWAY, I just fishined the paper and tomorrow I shall be reading it. GAH! I can't wait till senior year -- all this will've paid off and I'll be the inimidating senior that I'm stressing about now. heh.
