Just went to that bkdollarholidays.com to get some people those $1 cards for free cheeseburgers. They had 20 different varietys of cards, and all of them are sold out  ;D

Hell, I thought you could just go on there and print them out for free. I didnt realize you actually have to pay for them. Then again, I guess theyd be giving out a lot of free cheeseburgers if that were the case.

Incredible woman I've been dating for 2 months or so is going to Mexico for a month.  Before she left, she felt we needed some type of understanding of where we were.  She decided she is not sure she is ready for a relationship.  It has been 3 years since her last serious one, after a heartbreaking 5 year mostly long-distance relationship.  So, we are on a break while she is in Mexico.  Bummer.  In most cases, I would assume that this means she wants to be free to get freaky with the locals while she is there, but in this case, I actually don't believe that.  She hasn't been with anyone besides me in a year, and turns down men ALL THE TIME, plus she will be very, very busy while she is there, so...I trust she's being honest.  She gave me the ok to be with other women while she is gone, as long as we take the proper precautions before we are together again...alas, she is the only woman on my mind, so I doubt I will be doing much (any) carousing.  Fingers crossed that her mind is cleared and she is recharged when she returns home, and that we can work things out and keep it simple.  If not...her loss!   ;)

-Dont call her until she's been there a couple weeks. And then maybe a couple days before she's supposed to come back
-Talk to as many girls as you want/can, but dont hook up with any.

I realize its not rocket science and Im probably one of the last you should take advice from, but if she still is interested when she comes back, you most likely optimized the situation by taking the above actions.

I don't think her phone will be on while she's down there.  We might do some IM'ing.  I plan on leaving her completely alone to collect her thoughts.  Good news is I thought I wouldn't see her again until she left (tomorrow), but she told me this morning she wants to see me tonight...good sign!  Good advice though, I will definitely not be shutting myself off from women while she's gone, if she's not sure of what she wants...but it would be a good idea to not hook up with anyone.

TEO, sorry to hear that.  I will be losing mine sometime soon (March probably).  I could stay with the company, but they want me to move to Marietta, OH...there is NOTHING in that town!  There whole sales pitch is that they're "only 2 hours away from Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh"...but how often do I want to drive 2 hours to do something?  The town would be great if I was older (friendly people, quiet, safe) but there is NO nightlife.  Probably going to go back to school.  It's about 90% certain that I will get 2 years + 39 months of unemployment along with 2 years of schooling paid for (no limit in dollar amount).  I think I'm going back for my MBA.  One door closes, another opens... :)

YES! This is a great outlook! Since I terminated my contract I've found job searching is a lot easier when you have a Masters. I def think you should go for your MBA. Without my MPA I doubt I would be getting as many people interested in hiring me. Once you have it they can never take it away and it will always be an asset. As for the girl, if she wants space- give it to her. She knows where you are and she'll contact you. Do your thing...just dont do anything you may regret later!  ;)
