I've had some nightmares and some good times, but I finally found love and happiness when I stopped faking who I was and stopped looking for it.  I waited for love to find me while I found myself.  

I was lucky, burned my bridges after college, moved to NC, reinvented myself and found my life.  Meg et al, you're young.  Take your time, let it happen, enjoy yourself, find yourself, then he/she will find you.

Just my 2 cents.  :)

oh I respect them.  I went purely for my grandparents.  It was at a church.  I hate religion.  like hate hate it.  my mom's side is ultra religious and its annoying.  3hours turned into literally 9hours.  It blew.  hard.  i think it's sweet they made it 50years but fuck all the other bullshit that I had to deal with today.  I'm glad it's over.

I pushed myself too hard at my cross country mountain bike race on Sunday.  I had to stop with one mile to go and gave up a three minute lead for first place.  I nearly passed out and had to be hauled off of the trail.

Silver lining:  lesson/s learned. :P

My job.  Worked for Wachovia for almost 5 years, then we got bought out by Wells Fargo.  Since this past Nov.  my job duties have changed 6 times.  Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful to have this job, but I feel like I'm not being used anywhere near my potential.  I haven't done more than 20 min of work in any given workday since Dec.  Just sitting in front of a computer for 8 hours is a brutal way to spend a workday.

funny thing is, we have a new bonus structure.  so essentially i'm getting paid more for doing a lot less work.
