I re-setup an account so I can dis on my local police officials and stuff again about legalization but I can't find your username it keeps giving me some indian persons user id.

oh man I'm toasted from all this glenn beck bs today.  it blows my mind.  one guy said "when's the last time you've seen 500,000 people come together in peace" and wasn't there millions at the inauguration? that seemed peace haha.  those people are so strange.  I went for the calm approach my final stand and it went well.  I'm tired of our system I want to move to the woods.

my favorite part of the whole "god is protecting us" thing was it appeared, at least to me as tho glenn was wearing a bullet proof vest.  he has so much faith in god.  ::)

my facebook page got disabled by glenn beck fans when I was protesting his joke of a rally.  what a fucked up world we live in.  good thing the account was made purely for talking about politics.  it's travesty tho.  all I said was that they are all a bunch of evil mother fuckers and if jesus came back they would disgust him.  I don't think that's THAT bad considering the drivel they spew.  oh well, facebook is a piece of shit anyway.  talk about a website with security issues that gives out way too much personal information.

Teaching my 8th grade math class blew my mind today. I was trying to teach how to subtract integers like 7- (-4). I understand how to do this myself but trying to explain this to a group of 13 year olds just wasn't working today and to make things even worse our textbooks have not came in so I'm teaching the kids without books. That class may have been the low point in the 2 years I have been teaching; it was brutal.

Ophidiophobe, I'm sorry about the day teaching... I teach every here and there too at a local nature classroom in my neighborhood, and can relate to how such a day feels.....

capt, I do think you are correct though! Now THERE was a flashback to math class... whew good job!

I guess my current complaint is it's my first day back to work since I skipped town Aug. 8... I shouldn't really complain, it's a pretty easy job and during the summer it's only part-time... and I've had such a wonderful trip... but you know. I'd still really rather be high-tailin it up 'n' down Highway 1 all afternoon and being a beach bum!!!  8-)

Yep that is right! I spent almost 2 class periods trying to figure out how to teach this concept today, and it finally clicked after the first post. After I figured out how to explain this my students caught on super fast ;D

The hottest I've ever experienced is Havana in August (over 100, not including the humidity... and it was beer drinking in the morning humid). However, today Toronto just happens to be hotter than it is currently in Havana. I was in Tampa (Pass-a-Grille) a few years ago, but not in the summer.
