i LOVE The snow!! wish we would have gotten this before i went snowboarding on sat (ice! ouch) it's so beautiful and thanks to my new sub zero degree boots, i was able to walk to work w/dry, warm feet. i feel bad for people having to drive or snowed in but nothing like NYC during a snowstorm :-)
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

That slow lull between watching the evening crowd trail off to bed and the morning crew making their day's first posts...

and also keeping company across the interweb with a beautiful brunette as this happens...

SO SMITTEN.

Many, many a time have I been here during that lull.

I just got a $100 Visa check card in the mail because I found my apartment on rent.com.  I figured it was bullshit and never expected to hear anything else about it.

I may be going back to Michigan for a long weekend in April.  There's a big family thing I'd like to go to and coincidently, some friends of mine are having a big CD release party the same weekend.  Hopefully it works out.

My best friend is visiting in a few weeks.

Uncle Tupelo, especially on a nice day, makes me feel really good.

I really enjoy having so many things making me happy these days.

Hot damn, I'd be perfectly happy to fix things for a living. Just helped fixed our keyboardist's Wurlitzer electric piano, and even though I didn't need to do too much to it, knowing that I can open something up, look around and start figuring out what's going wrong is a beautiful thing. Maybe I could be a guitar repairman after all...

I might be a little biased, since I did receive the honorary first listen about an hour ago, but I wouldn't have had listened to it on repeat for the entirety of the last hour if it was only just okay.

Can't wait. Have tons of yard work planned. I'm gonna work until I drop and I wouldn't have it any other way.

85 here in Stillville, OK. Speaking of yard work, I just finished putting in a french drain in my back/side yard, so I can't wait for a downpour to see it in action.

A French drain, drain tile, or land drain is a ditch covered with gravel or rock that redirects surface and ground water away from an area. A French drain can have hollow pipes along the bottom (see images) to quick vent water that seeps down through the upper gravel or rock. French drains are common drainage systems, primarily used to prevent ground and surface water from penetrating or damaging building foundations.

yeah, I went through all that BS a couple of years ago trying to divert water from a gutter downspout and then I said F it and bought 50 feet of 3 inch PVC, dug a 3 foot trench and buried the sucker; an American drain   ;)
