Wow, sports can be painful.   Just another example of why music is better.    I leave sporting events unhappy 50% of the time.   I'm rarely unhappy after a show.

Thanks Dave.  That was a really good series, and I was really happy to see our starting pitching step up for those last 3 games. I'm nervous about the Tigers, they're a really good team, but so were the Cardinals and Reds. I'm very curious to see what we can do against Verlander. 

Man, I've never seen rain so hard during a baseball game. I thought the umpire was going to call it after Lopez got pulled with 2 outs in the ninth. SO glad he didn't.

I think it got to the point where they wouldn't have been able to field and throw. I was pretty happy to see it end when and how it did.

Going back to your first point...music is better, I agree with you on that in general. But, the best that sports can offer (especially live) are greater than the best that music can offer, imo.

i was nervous about our team facing verlander last night.  we may have caught a break catching him on an off night. although, the giants hit him pretty hard in the all-star game, too.

what a huge night for sandoval!  and timmy!
and even though he didn't get a hit last night i love seeing huff in the batter's box.  i'm pulling for that guy.

I just like seeing almost every national sportswriter get it wrong with how Verlander was going to bring the Giants momentum to a screeching halt.
