So I come into work this moring and there is brown paper bag waiting for me from my favorite sales rep. Inside? Nectur of the gods.

Several bottles of Fuller's 1845 (possible the best I've ever drank. I was beyond words good) and several bottles of Samual Smith Pale Ale. Is it quitin time yet so I can enjoy these bad boys?

A Little Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale
ABV: 7.7%
Way smooth and silky with a nice wheaty-esque-ish-ness. Just the little sumpin' sumpin' we all need to kick Summer into full swing!

NoVa, I tried this last night!  I was so excited to see it on the menu after reading your description.   ;D  It was pretty good...also had the Surly Furious and the New Holland Golden Cap.

to the people who dig rogue's beers.... if you havent already, go get some smoke ale. it smells and tastes like bacon!!! (which is a good thing) i'm not sure if that is how it is supposed to taste, but that is how it tastes once it reaches me all the way in upstate ny.

Well, My brother is on his way back to Minnesota, and he's bringing some Fat Tire. He no longer has to smuggle Fat Tire for me anymore, since it's now sold here, but hey free beer!  8-)

i like the idea, but it sounds like bacon cheeseburger mike's lemonade. not good.

Rogue's Chipotle Ale thats brewed with chipotle peppers is damn tasty though. I think its like 10% alcohol or something too.

But that doesnt sound like itd be good either i guess, but its bomb  ;D

I'm on it MJ...will report back with a review...I can hopefully find that Sumpin Sumpin beer too...I like the sounds of that one  ;)

My dad gave me some "Old Leghumper" to try the other day...he only likes it for the name, but the beer was actually pretty good

Had some Fuller's ESB Monday night...it was good!  Maybe not quite worth the $14.50/6 pack, but very good.  I couldn't find the 1845 at the store.  I'm on the lookout though.

Kinda crazy, I was looking through this coffee table beer book by Michael Jackson (not that MJ, the one that looks like Jerry Garcia on meth), and I had only had about 10 beers out of 250.  And I am ALWAYS trying new beers.  Must be because I'm in such a small market.  I am on a mission though now to try every beer in that book.

ESB is good. It's sad how expensive anything from Fuller's is here in the Midwest. It's insane. Yeah, keep a look out for 1845, so worth the price. Next time I hit the store and you haven't found any, I can pick up an extra bottle or 2.

speaking of MJ, my first time to ottawa i was in a pub and i couldnt decide on which beer i wanted and on the menu it had a little paragraph by MJ. And he recommended the Camerons Auburn Ale so i said what the hell and i ordered it and it is still one of the best beers i have ever had... EVER.
