Spaten Optimator is delicious!  Picked up a 30 or so of New Glarus beer today too.  Had 2 Octoberfests this weekend!  Lacrosse, WI and New Glarus, WI...don't want to drink for a long time...or at least 'til Tuesday

Sweet! Sorry I'm so late to the party. I've only used it for a couple of brewskies so far. I didn't know the features at the time. Now that I do, I'll make sure to notice them.

yeah, I got a box of 4...usually open 2 beers at a time to keep it full since I prefer drinking out of a full glass... ;)

I was in Munich a few weeks ago for the first two days of Oktoberfest (the real start of Oktoberfest is in mid September and Munich is the only German city that it is celebrated - although other towns and cities in Bavaria recognize it). I drank tons of beer during my 10 day stay in Germany and the best was from Munich's Augustiner brewery. It's so revered and delicious that Augustiner feels it doesn't need to advertise, and it doesn't. I particularly loved Augustiner Lagerbier Helles (Helles is pale ale) - in fact, it's the best beer I've ever had, even better than Mill Street Tankhouse, a Toronto micro-brew pale ale and France's Kronenbourg 1664.
