QuoteMan, just watched Rushmore for the first time. Beautiful movie. Damn you, Wes Anderson. Such a genius.

Royal Tenenbaums is up for a second viewing sometime before Thursday now.

Both of those are pretty classic.

I just saw "The Brave One" with Jodi Foster last night.  Has to be the best ending for a revenge movie I've seen yet.
Sittin' here with me and mine.  All wrapped up in a bottle of wine.

I got punched in the face. What's your excuse?
The river is moving. The blackbird must be flying.

QuoteI probably should see Before Sunset as I loved Before Sunrise
you certainly should!  i think it's the better of the two, even though i prefer to think of them as a single entity.  ethan hawke's character in those two films has had more of an effect on my life than most non-fictional people, dead or alive...

AFI's Top 10 for 2008:

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
The Dark Knight
Frost/Nixon
Frozen River
Gran Torino
Iron Man
Milk
WALL-E
Wendy and Lucy
The Wrestler
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Really? Now they have me curious.
Evey: Are you, like, a crazy person?
V: I am quite sure they will say so.

That quote explains it perfectly. I'm not even going to bother trying to make it to the end. And I do like a lot of his other work.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't count as a movie, but I watched some Rolling Thunder-era Dylan bootlegs last night and they pretty much blew my mind.
if it falls apart or makes us millionaires

Based on that, it looks like Liev Schreiber deserves a Razzie.

X3 stank & I find it difficult to watch Hugh Jackman after his poor performance in The Fountain. I'll probably just rent this, only because I'm a fan of the Wolverine/Weapon X comics...

He was good in The Prestige though

That preview looked good until Gambit and every other character looked totally lame

I agree, the Prestige was very good but I saw The Fountain after that...

Yeah, he was really good in that. It's funny: the first time I saw that movie, the ending blew me away. But now, even though I still really like the film, I find the ending really disappointing.

I actually watched it with my Pops, who is usually pretty quick at figuring things out or picking up small things. As soon as they showed the hats or cats or whatever it was, I knew exactly what was going on. I still enjoyed the ending, but it didnt surprise me or anything.

I had to explain the ending for a good 5 minutes to him though. I didnt think it was all that complicated  ;D

My personal opion, I think Hugh Jackman is an awful Wolverine. If I remember, Wolvie was a short little ball of muscle and fury. The movie version he's tall enough to play in the NBA. It bugs me.

Kung Fu Panda (again!) I love it!!!  :D
