I'm definitely a fan.  I've seen him at the local bar quite a few times. He certainly has a following here in Iowa.  I do need to check out some of his other albums, I only have Hymns for the Hopeless, which is excellent imo.  Very nice guy too.  My buddy turned me on to him.  The first time he saw him he played out in front of one of the local record stores.  they didn't even have a chair for him, but somehow there was an old toilet laying around, so he sat on that!  ;D  I had no idea he toured with Lanegan, would have loved to see one of those shows!  From what I've seen of him he only plays solo shows?  I'd like to see what he could do with a full band!
