Awesome!!  Thanks for that mahg33ta.  I would not have found it otherwise.  I picked up Delta Spirit stuff from iTunes to prep for seeing them in Boca Raton.  Sounds like these guys are going to be a great opening act..... and very cool to give away this EP.

The re-release of this EP for free digital made me pop in the vinyl tonight.  Now I've never been the biggest Bushwick (song) fan compared to many of the tracks on History because I felt like it was too straightforward.  Don't get me wrong.  The song KILLS live!  I just think the stripped down (I just wrote this on my acoustic) version that was played on NPR and on the EP illuminates the subtlety that makes it such a more beautiful song.

The generosity of Delta Spirit continues - another free EP - this time "I think I've found it", their very first album.   Well worth a download for Gimme Some Motivation, still played at live shows, and early versions of Streetwalker and People Turn Around!

Not just GSM, but Crippler King and When In Roam are great songs as well and have a more garage rock sound we probably wont hear from them again.

Coming back to dallas!  Was introduced to them during the Dallas MMJ show and loved them.  Looking forward to their next album and seeing them again (for longer than the 50ish minutest they got before MMJ).

I'll definitely be at this March 29th show @ Webster Hall.  Waters, which for any Port O'Brien fans is Vans' new project, is pretty awesome live also, although their album was pretty weak.

i have a lot of weekend commitments in the next few months, so I was a bit relieved it was a date I have no conflicts.   But, I realize that's not great for your trek from NH!  :(
