Makes me wish College Radio was still "College Radio"

The Replacements - Left Of The Dial

And one of Paul's best-ever tunes, including his Replacements compositions:

Paul Westerberg - "Waiting for Somebody"

Wasn't that in Singles? Hearing Paul's song/songs in that are what had me look into the mats initially.

Yes, and the song clip is a still from the Singles album cover. The biggest single from that album was Westerberg's "Dyslexic Heart". His two songs ruled that album and made it one of the best soundtracks of the '90s. Also, these songs were significant because they are Westerberg's first solo material after the breakup of the Replacements. Also, Paul did the score for the film too.

I feel like a fool because I read this on my iphone and the still didn't load

Also, Singles was the first DVD I ever owned. I forget how I acquired it though, but it wasn't by accident.
Still my favorite Paul solo song.

I know I'm a little late to the game on this one.... but THIS ENTIRE FUCKING ALBUM.

The wind blew me back, via Chicago, in the middle of the night.

The thing is, Bob, it's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care. - Peter Gibbons

I'm not saying it's easy...walking into sweet oblivion.

@ Bowl of Soup: Also love that song! Never knew Afghan Whigs were THAT big (huge crowd, festival of course, but nevertheless...). I don't know anyone (personally) who knows Greg Dulli or the Afghan Whigs :(

@ ChronicHunger: I'm also really enjoying the new Decemberists album! It's very catchy. Can't stop listening to this song, it's on constant repeat :

There's a few Dulli lovers around these parts.  The Whigs never got big, but don't tell Mr. Dulli that.  One of my top 5 shows ever - Congregation era Whigs at a small bottle club in Pensacola.  I guess this song sat around for years before it ended up on Gentlemen - doesn't sound right with Dulli singing and I guess this is the only live recording with Marcy Mays singing.  She kills it.

I just discovered a whole new world to investigate! Can anyone on here tell me more about Doug Sahm?
