Pretty solid line-up imo, just not that big on the headliners.
Highlights for me would be:
Fistful of Mercy
PJ Harvey
The National
Animal Collective
Broken Social Scene
Delta Spirit
Elbow
Mumford & Sons
Raphael Saadiq
The Felice Bros
Tallest Man on Earth
Trampled by Turtles
Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears
Cold War Kids
Flogging Molly
The Black Keys

I agree. The headliners are pretty weak for a festie that big. I'm surprised Kings of Leon didn't have some top 40 radio station festival to play their three songs over and over to a screaming audience of Justin Bieber fans.

I'm not too impressed with it all in all. Headliners are terrible, and if they were ommited the fest would cost 150$ less. There are good bands, but nothing that really grabs me. The Black Keys, TMOE, Delta Spirit, Cold War Kids, a few others I can't remember. One thing I like seeing however, is Bright Eyes. Maybe they'll play Roo and we'll get som e M.O.F. action.
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

And, when the fuck did Arcade Fire become Coachella-headling big? They're the third biggest band on the line up, but they don't have the stardom Kanye and KoL have.

They've got momentum right now it seems, though I wasn't a fan of the Suburbs at all.

Black Keys should arguably be a headliner. At least they've got a lot more market penetration at this point with all the commercials.

They're big enough. They also put on one Hell of a show.
Some girls mothers are bigger than others girls mothers...

This is a boring-ass lineup.  Headliners all headlined other American majors recently and the undercard is mostly last year's circuit as well.  Lots of great bands in there, but it's not put together in a compelling way at all IMO.

Though Coachella isn't generally up my alley (too much electronica for my liking) they usually do have a couple of really unique acts (Sly, Fever Ray, etc.).  Suede, DFA1979, and Big Audio Dynamite are nice, but not really "wow" level.

I honestly thought they'd snag Roxy Music.
if it falls apart or makes us millionaires

Come again? Whoa..didn't know they were touring..
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

They played some Japanese and Euro fests last year and have some UK/AUS/NZ dates for 2011.

Robyn, Bright Eyes and The Black Keys, oooh nice and some Mumford & Sons and Tallest Man on Earth doesn't hurt either, I'd go if I could! Robyn will rock for sure, or pop, or whatever it is she does, it's all good  :D

I must be tragically uncool as this looks like a yawn to me.  'Cept for the Black Keys.
