So glad this forum is here to validate my enthusiasm  :D

I'm the lone Jacketeer with the rest of my crew WSP fanatics. At the moment we are waiting for two others, but no one has financially committed.  That being said we might have space for two- Thurs-Sun rental is .03 miles/ 5min walk to the Hangout.

Crispy....if you don't want to crash at the Trish and Bob love nest you should check with darkglow and see how many people are signed up for the condo he booked. Just throwing it out there. We all know they're both kinda crazy...and maybe they don't have enough room in the bathtub...

baaaaa haaaaaa!

where are you guys staying? we are at the lighthouse?
Also, I am pretty excited to see WSP -- have never seen them before, and don't know too much of their stuff, but think I might like it.
See you there!!!

Ky, if anybody's going to crash the Bob and Trish giant-champagne-glass-bubble-bath ecstasy pad, it's ME. I'm gonna do a cannonball in that thing!

(I'll keep darkglow in mind, though, thanks)  :)

I think it would helpful/awesome for people to post flying in/out times so people can hook up for rides, etc. (if people are renting cars and flying into the same airports, no reason not to share)...just a thought---3 or 4 diff airports around that vicinity...

Since I am on the losing end of a battle against irony, I am probably not going to be able to make any of this festival.   :'(   But, in the name of Southern Hospitality and Jacket Love, I'm thinking I might be able to arrange one or two shuttle trips from the Pensacola airport to Gulf Shores.  As it gets closer to time and there are people flying in without rides maybe we can coordinate a time for me to pick up some peeps and carry em on over.  Just an option to keep in mind.

P.S.  This offer is extended to the band, as well.   ;D ;D ;D

ms. yvon....PLEEEEEEEEEEASE COME TO HANGOUT!! We need you on the rail. And another amenity: chance of injury is slim, because if you fall on the sand, it won't hurt (most likely). Of course there is risk of drunken falls off the condo balcony....

hrrrrm....

hahahahaha!  ok, let me take a closer look at the travel options.

full disclosure: my festival rail skills are not as strong as standard shows.  festival rail requires platooning.

penny:  will do!

Did any of you more seasoned folks attend the 2003 tour when MMJ opened for the Foo Fighters?

I've recently begun digging into the other bands that will be at the Hangout, and I came across an article that said Dave Grohl loved At Dawn when it first came out.

Any chance or history of on-stage collaboration??

Still up in the air about doing this festival (I have only done small stuff like Newport which is accessible and awesome!) I can only take one day off (Monday) so I would probably come in on Saturday? Sunday is my  :birthdays: and MMJ is playing... this makes me want to go!!! My real apprehension is that I'm not sure if I can handle the big festivals ~ dealing with the crowds and the other bands fans. Holding a spot at T5 all night is one thing, holding a spot all day and night at a big festival, man....

Off topic but I very, very briefly worked at Buckheads (louisvillians will know what it is) and my boss told me that Patrick worked there through out highschool. Buckheads is a dumb restaurant on par with Applebees or Chilis.
