Hmm, I keep looking and looking, and I'm missing the dilemma. Looks to me like you're all good to go!  ;)
;D  i missed out on the presale this morning.  i don't know if i'll be able to make this show.  i tend to start new jobs in july/august.

that said, i've not seen a show at red rocks...

72 72!

Ms. Y, I know you have GA magic and would prefer that, but keep in mind that I have 2 extra tix in Row 26 should you need to use one or two.   They're not going anywhere until I pick them up at Will Call.  See you at the Edgefield!

Vespa, I will probably want those tickets. I couldn't buy any when they went on sale cause I was in class.

The regular sale hasn't even started, and I would bet GA and Res tickets will be available all summer.

I'm pretty sure everyone here will have a tix.  Eric if you don't score GA in regular sale let me know.  I'm still debating whether to bring baby MMJ.  Anyone know the rule at RR re "baby in arms" needing a tic?

EDIT: Crispy, sorry to hijack the Fest thread.   :-\

You're not hijacking, vespa, it says Red Rocks first!  :) We might want to have a separate Fest thread...

From the website FAQ:
QuoteAlthough the promoter of some shows may have a different policy generally children under 2 years of age do not need a ticket. They are required to sit on the lap of the adult and to not interfere with someone else's seat. Please keep in mind that some shows may not be appropriate for young children and that children must be supervised closely by a responsible adult.
Looks good, but you're going to have to find a responsible adult somewhere!

For those thinking of hitting the Flaming Lips the night before, this is a remainder they will be performing Dark Side of the Moon.

And Primus has Les Claypool, yes?

Yay- My Avatar finally showed up!  :D

Yeahhhh...well, I'm gonna need you to go ahead and contribute your GA magic to me and truly recreate the T5 experience at the front of the line.

Keep those wheels turning, hope to see you there -- row 1 or 26!

If we're all down for Rockies on Saturday should we get seats together?  I'm down. I'm good with cheap seats, but I can swing the good stuff too.

I asked my boss what micorbreweries I should go to while in Colorado and he said to check out the microbrewery at the Stadium. Doesn't get talked about a lot but really good, he said.  They serve the original recipe for Blue Moon.  So I'm definitely going to catch a game that weekend.

Brew tours on Friday sounds good. We could "brew hop" in Boulder or Fort Collins.

Sand Lot Brewery is at Coors Field.  Not a bad place to chill out and they do have good beer.  They are owned by Coors, which can be seen as a - mark by beer snobs.  Never the less they do sell small batch beer that is tasty.

Gotta go to Great Divide which is only a couple of blocks from Coors Field.  Best Brew pub in the city limits of denver imho.  Then you got Breckenridge Brewery and Wynkoop Brewery (John Hickenlooper current CO governor was one of the founders) all within a 5 min walk from coors field.  Plus Falling Rock Tap house which has the most beer taps in the best beer city in the usa close by.

The best part of Coors Field is what surrounds it, which is great bars and brew pubs, truly part of the baseball experience.

I usually end up spending more time in pubs then Coors Field when going to a game.  You got every kind of bars, Irish, sports, dance clubs, and bars that sell cheap draft beers during games.

I spent a summer cooking at the Stanley....spooky kitchen.....

The Rockies have home games against WA all weekend, too.
B-ball game and Breweries.

I like the way you think!  ;)

I checked TM last night for Friday night Rockie tix, and there are $60.00 club seats between home plate and 1st base available, all the way down to $4.00 seats way out in the rock pile!

Depends on how much $ you want to spend for a seat, but there were some pretty decent ones in the $30.00 range too.

As for Breweries, I'm in for those too.

i'd like to do some hiking, too...i'm sure Crispy and Soulshine know some good places, i remember hiking in Estes Park?

what about The Shining house? i went there, too...is that close?

Lots of good hiking around and close to the cabin, and Estes Park is about 30 minutes north. The Shining hotel is in Oregon -- the Stanley Hotel that inspired it is in Estes.

when i went to denver last summer we took an extended brewery tour all over the surrounding area.. definitely recommend wynkoop and breckenridge breweries. we watched the rockies game from the breckenridge brewery and they had beer specials going on during certain innings.. nothing like being in the park but we didn't want to go to the game unless we had good seats and it was a last minute trip.

my recommendations for outside of denver: boulder brewery in boulder and tommyknockers in idaho springs.. all very short drives from the city
