Don't know what Maureens is about, but I'm willing to bet it has to do with the ice cream shop a few miles from my house.

Don't know what Maureens is about, but I'm willing to bet it has to do with the ice cream shop a few miles from my house.

I can confirm that Maureen's is at least named for the ice cream stand by my house. Don't know what the song is about though. I mean, Sterling is named after an abandoned hotel in downtown WB, but is about getting smashed and hanging with JFK, so who knows. Tim certainly has a knack for making Wilkes-Barre seem like some mysterious, wonderous place.

From what I understand, this is going to be a very "big" sounding album. I'm already assuming it'll be my favorite album of the year, and I mean that as unbiased as I possibly can.  I can't wait. I'm assuming a wilkes barre show is in the cards sometime soon. Reading that the lineup is a driving rock band sure does excite me.

I see he's playing in Bethlehem next weekend at the Nowadays festival.  Are you going?  Then a date in April in VA.  Do you think other dates will be announced anytime soon?

Don't know about dates, and I'm not going. I haven't talked to Tim about much lately (other than the maureens thing, lol), but I'm sure a Wilkes-Barre show or two is happening sooner or later.
