Here's a 9-song demo set of Pope Killdragon for "name your price", ie. free if you can't afford a few bucks, you cheap bastard!

Seems you can get Pope Killdragon itself for name-your-price.  I bought the vinyl, but it didn't come with a download code, so...

I can't find it anywhere in mp3 format and I don't have a record player that converts it, but if I run across it at any point I will let you know.   Sometimes those b sides will show up on itunes eventually after all of the special edition vinyls are sold.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Better late than never, but im on board. This album is amazing. Should I now just start from the beginning or is there another album I should go directly to?

I got hooked by Leave Ruin, which I think is also just outstanding.

Thanks everyone for another great recommendation.  This place is great!  And just another great reason to check this Forum every day.  I've "discovered" a bunch of bands due to the buzz of the Other Music section.  As Murph said, better late than never, but I'm on board.

After one and half listens of Heal, I'm already liking it a lot and feel like this is the type of album that will grow on me more and more.   I just skimmed Pope Killdragon as well and wasn't into it as much as the new one.  Leave Ruin is on deck!

I'll be seeing Strand of Oaks in DC on Sept 14.  Anyone else?

Guess that's why they added a second show.  Never been to Boot & Saddle though.

I'm having trouble getting into this album.   Clearly i'm in the minority, not trying to piss in the punch bowl.   I'll keep listening....  it's really the sound of it as much as the songs themselves.
